The ex-felon vs the two drunk douchebags

Update:

No charges against the cashier.
There ARE charges against the two women.

This good news just made my whole holiday. For once someone ISN’T getting screwed because of somebody else’s bullshit behavior. Maybe Santa will bring me some prison time for the two hoes to top it off.

Although I would prefer is he had been prosecuted, I am very glad that the women are being prosecuted.

Darbeau and Edwards have been indicted and their charges have been increased to include felony burglary, “which in this case meant that they entered the fast food restaurant with intent to commit a crime, their lawyer said.”

I assume this means it was a bad fifty. Quoth their counsel: “The DA won’t be able to prove intent of a burglary, their actions don’t rise to the level of a burglary.”

Right, they were poor innocent victims who had merely been passed a bad bill. Surely, the fact that their righteous indignation was sincere enough to provoke them to commit a violent assault exculpates them entirely. Poor little lambs.

…reading a little further it seems that the “felony burglary” was going into an off-limits area with the intent of striking McIntosh. Meh.

IMO, that should be felony assault, not felony burglary.

AWESOME. Justice is served, and I’m Lovin’ it!

I guess the Grand Jury decided those two women really did “deserve a break today”.

So is anyone going to apologize for piling on the OP? Okay maybe the guy didn’t deserve a medal, and maybe the OP is a dick, but they’re not pressing charges. That sorta flies in the face of many of the self-righteous proclamations made against him.

P.S. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Nope.

These things are both true.

Incorrect. They did charge him, and the Grand Jury refused to indict. I think it was a borderline call, but a reasonable one given the circumstances.

Not really.

GOOD!
Yay, grand jury.

 Jesus Christ. Did he win the fucking Superbowl? You’re cheering the guy?

I think the fact that a guy who was being railroaded on a doctored video, who was being denounced by the hystericals as having used a “pipe” when the video clearly shows a thin antenna-like piece of metal, who was defending himself against who knows what given that you can’t even see what the women were doing in the part of the video where he’s hitting them, is not in fact going to be chewed up by the “justice” system in order to protect New York’s reputation on Youtube, is worth being happy about, sure. We’ll see where Mr. McIntosh goes from here.

I am comforted to know that we have so many rough customers as posters here. If we ever get into a board war, I have no fear that we will lose. I’d follow you internet sons of bitches into an Error 404 Page. Ours is not to question why. Ours is but to post about how fucking tough we are IRL.

Now, I’m one to lose my head in a physical altercation. I can understand getting your blood up. I alsu feel that anyone who physically assaults someone else deserves a great deal of retribution.

There’s just no excusing beating people who are down, and if you think these terminator girls continued to pose a threat to this guy and the guys around him, you’re a moron and a pussy.

I’m not sure the guy deserves any legal sanction or not. I do know for certain that he’s no fucking hero, and cheering for him reveals one to be a high caliber douchebag. It seems that winning our little internet toughness internal competition has cause some people here to lose all perspective.

I’d say a guy avoiding a bunch more prison time for some shit he didn’t start is way more cheerworthy than the superbowl. Oh, and now I see you are one of THOSE people (morons that think football is important).

Hentor, your join date tells me that you have been on the internet long enough to know what an “internet tough guy” is. You know for a fact that it doesn’t fit to hurl it at someone who simply think that this guy didn’t deserve to be convicted for his actions that day. It seems slimey of you to try to spin that term when you know damn well it doesn’t fit.

You don’t think we’ve had several internet tough guys here? Shit, we had a post padding interrogation about breaking a cane over your knee. If that isn’t internet tough guy stuff, then I don’t know what the term means. I don’t think I spun anything, so take your slime and stuff it.

I agree. Were they staying down, or getting back up?

they were apparently two drunk, unarmed women. Does it matter? If so, how long must they stay down?

Oh yeah? I’d like to see you say that to my face!
