The first part of your argument is completely irrational, and I fail to see how a child adopted by two gay or lesbian parents will not have any positive role models (or opportunities for self-identification) in the opposite sex whatsoever.
This isn’t inherent in Islam, it’s inherent in fundamentalism of any religious stripe.
