The Feud: Big Musical Numbers by 42fish [Game Over]

A song by a one-hot wonder duo called Zager & Evans, which hit number one for six straight weeks in 1969. It’s a gloom-and-doom scenario about the future of mankind, in which increasingly dystopian milestones are reached in conveniently rhyming years. So in the year 2525, we won’t be able to tell lies, since “everything you think, do, and say is in the pill you took today.” Other milestones include the abolition of marriage as test tube babies become the means for reproduction and the atrophy of physical activity as machine labor replaces people’s work.

#7 - I’m afraid of how many people will go with Luftballoons.
#9 - This is probably showing my age, I’m sure there are more modern popular examples

Upon reading other answers: dammit! I had both 99 Luftballoons and 25 or 6 to 4 in my list, and then changed them.

No need. Mercy has been granted.

Go and sin no more.

WTF?

I suspect it’s a reference to the McCartney song.

I liked the “bimp”. It makes me picture Ellen Cherry doing an Inspector Closeau impression.

I get that - why would a mod tag herself as banned? UNLESS [light bulb above head goes on] it’s an AFD joke?

golf clap

Brava Ellen! Brava!

bows

Or maybe “bow chicka wow-wow” ?
