I dunno, if I search for “One lyrics”, I get Metallica, U2, someone called Fat Joe, and Three Dog Night on the first page, and nothing for Nilsson or “One is the loneliest number” in the first ten pages. If that really is the song’s official title, it looks like you’re the only one who knows it.

You know, I had the same thought, I wasn’t sure of the song’s proper title so I googled something like “Three Dog Night one is the loneliest” not even thinking that I biased my own search.
No wonder it spit the same wrong title back at me.:smack:

This comes up all the time, though. The question will read “Except for Lincoln, name someone in the Ford theater the night Lincoln got shot” and someone will inevitably say Lincoln.
