They’re accused of a bit more than “shenanigans.” Some very troubling behavior, and the studio is hoping the movie and a hollow apology sweeps it under the rug.
I know the actor has a ton of personal issues but I loved Ezra Miller as the Flash in every movie he has been in and have been looking forward to this for a long time (it was pointed out recently that this movie was first announced around the time the Flash TV show premiered and that show is now about to have it 9th and final season so yeah it’s been a while).
I thought the Suicide Squad remake was a B-/C+ movie. I think Wonder Woman is the clear DCEU best movie, and while I agree that the third act is weak, it’s still a good movie. IMO the only DCEU movie I would say is good while it would be middle of the pack for MCU.
I loved Shazam. A lot of “What if this actually happened?” moments. Like if a kid actually gained super powers there’d be a lot of "Okay, can I do this?", and the scene where they he first meets bad guys and stops them from robbing a convenience store: “Hey, girls, I have super powers! Woooo!”
And they lampshaded a scene that’s always bugged me in movies: Super Hero and Super Villain floating above the city, 200 yards apart. Villain begins to taunt hero, and… “What? I’m sorry, I can’t hear you. At all! You’re like a couple of football fields away. What?”
.
PS: I first saw Ezra Miller in the Flash crossover. He did “confused” very well:
