They don’t deserve to go to hell.
NBC has picked up B99 for a sixth season.
TOIT!
Noice!
And Fox is reviving Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing. I guess they’re trying to get all the Fox news watchers over to Fox proper
How is that going to help them make money? I heard the show was cancelled to begin with because of the cost of Tim Allen’s salary.
Excellent. I hope someone does a final season of last man on earth, or at least someone makes a movie a la firefly so we can get closure.
Let’s give Fox a little credit for airing these great shows in the first place. And all channels axe good shows all the time, the champion being ABC.
What good shows did ABC eliminate? Fox seems to be the king of eliminating cult classic shows, going back for years and years.
ABC cancelled the single greatest network comedy of this millennium: Better Off Ted.
I love Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but Better Off Ted was funnier. IMO.
Fox got the contract for Thursday night football for the next 5 years. Live sports programming is much more profitable than a 30 minute sitcom. That’s why they went on a cancelling binge.
That’s one opinion. On the other hand, fuck them right in the face, how 'bout that ?
I’ve yet to forgive them. Man, I loved that show.
Oh, man. Same ol’ same ol’. I work in post production and get to see a lot of TV and film, but I’ve never seen one episode of Games of Thrones, Breaking Bad or Brooklyn 99.
Can someone suggest a B99 episode? (Though I can’t stand Adam Sandler, I’ll try.)
OK - now someone pick up Lucifer. Please. Pretty please with a cherry on top.
You mean Andy Samberg? Like many sitcoms the humor is character based so if you don’t know the characters you won’t know why certain things are funny. Start from the beginning.
I’d love to see Lucifer come back. I think it’s a great show. But I also can’t help but think that whenever the fans of a show freak out hard enough to bring that show back to life, it automatically becomes more difficult for any other show in that round of cancellations to duplicate the feat, you know? And with Brooklyn Nine-Nine snagging the first golden ticket, Lucifer fans will have to work that much harder. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to track down some goat’s blood, a pentagram made from the bones of a criminal and a suitable sacrificial altar. That IS what was decided upon for the campaign to save Lucifer from oblivion, right?
I am of two minds about them. I think they should die like dos for cancelling the great shows.
But, they were probably the only network that would give those shows a chance in the first place.
They’ve started to move back into my good graces with Speechless, which was renewed.
The Mick sucked. Unfunniest thing I’ve ever seen. I know, that ain’t a word. Deal.
“Unfunniest” is a word, but “bird” is the word.
