I realized that ABC was run by cretins and morons when they cancelled No Ordinary Family.
If the TV shows generated ratings they would not get cancelled. That’s how TV works. It’s hard to make money off “cult” shows.

But that would assume that making money is what they’re all about! I just can’t believe that is true. Why Rupert Murdoch, selfless soul that he is, would undoubtedly sacrifice every cent of his fortune and end his life as a homeless beggar in a ditch if he could make just one more person happy in this life :).
No, no - this must be the result of something far more nefarious. Maybe virulent contagion on the sets of these shows. Or foreign interference perhaps .
Spectrum (Time Warner) isn’t showing any Fox stations here. They said NorthWest Broadcasting has removed programming from Spectrum because ‘they (NorthWest) are demanding ridiculous huge fee increases’. Fox shows are free with a TV antenna and much is available on the internet.
This shittery, holding Fox shows hostage, has gone on before, and they usually work out a deal, passing the cost on to the hapless cable tv customer, but not as long as this - weeks and weeks have gone by.
Lucifer had a rocky 3rd season, but the last 2 episodes, especially the finale, were amazing. Lucifer needs to come back!
I disagree. Cult shows come back because after they are cancelled people end up buying the DVDs and watching the shows in syndication. That is what happened to things like futurama or family guy. The network realizes they killed a show that could still turn a profit so they bring it back.
I like brooklyn 99, but I always watched it on hulu. I don’t know if my viewing gets counted in the ratings they use to determine if a show should be kept or not.
