Republicans win both seats. I don’t like it but I think thats what’ll happen.
No, trump is working hard to let the Dems win, bless his little heart.
Well if they hold the Senate, McConnell is the most powerful Republican in the land . If they lose that Donnie still gets to be king, wielding the mighty power of Social Media.
I believe that he prefers the newspeak “Trump media.”
A month ago, I’d have voted “both Republicans win” without hesitation, but this last month has been so full of nonsense from so many directions, and the electorate in Georgia has been so involved in the early voting, that almost anything could happen. But, following the general principle that more votes is usually a bad thing for Republicans, I think the Democrats might just pull off an upset win this time.
That’s really her job though, right? Ask Brian Kemp, and I’m guessing he’ll say the Republicans are going to win.
My thinking is that all the polls show a virtual dead heat in both contests. Recent events have lead me to believe that for whatever reason, GOP voters are far underrepresented in polling data.
I wouldn’t be optimistic, except that Republican seem to be so intent on sabotaging their own side. I think enough of them will boycott the race, or write in Donald Trump, to let both Democrats squeak in.
After all that’s gone on, if Republicans are still elected, Georgia should get a monument for the dumbest 59,000 square miles on the planet.
Why? Why us and not the many other states that failed to elect their Democratic senators? Georgia has been the target of years of voter suppression and misinformation. We probably aren’t going to be the rest of the country’s saviors, and we shouldn’t have to be.
The difference is that she wants everyone to be able to vote and vote easily. Kemp wants certain people to vote and will do everything legal to ensure that others don’t.
While I wish this were possible, there was no option for write-in candidates on the runoff ballot, at least on the ones for Dekalb County.
…and of course no Trump supporter would ever break the rules by just scrawling “turmp” across the ballot.
At this point, I’m guessing that both Republicans will win by 7-10% points.
Both Democrats will easily sweep to victory.
The last thing I want to do is bet against someone known for using loaded dice.
Either way, I’m not sure what you’re saying. I’m saying that both Abrams and Kemp have jobs within their party that would almost dictate that they present a confident face to the media that they are sure their side is going to win, nothing more. I’d be extremely disappointed if Abrams had told Colbert “actually, I’m not all that optimistic that my years of hard work will have meant more than a hill of beans”.
Both Repubs win easily.
Boy, I hope I’m wrong.
50-50 split in this poll — interesting.
Meanwhile…as of about 10:30 Eastern, both races are very tight, but some experts are pretty sure Warnock and Ossoff will win, since more votes are yet to be reported from Democratic-leaning precincts than from other ones.
