The giant Scylla Thanksgiving crow eating thread.

Am I the only one who wants to give December a day pass to come back for this event?

OMFG, that would be an epic thread!

I just want to add my voice to those who think Scylla has already fulfilled his promise and consumed his requisite portion of crow and so should be let off the hook on thursday.

Having said that, there are still a number of others on this board who have grown remarkably silent of late about those enormous stockpiles of WMDs that Bush and Rummy warned us about. I hope that they will all pull up chairs and tuck into the blackbird but hope is cheap.

I would be happy with Clark or Dean. I doubt they could out fuck up Bush

Let’s throw Chumpsky and Coll into the mix as well!

:stuck_out_tongue:

I worry.

If he has not showed up yet, with all this chum upon the water…

Yes he has. Still, for the diehard WMD fans still out there, Kay spoke recently on what may turn out to be the mother of all smoking guns:

Sadly:

We’ll have to wait for his next report, due in January 04, to know for sure which way the shoe is going to drop. :dubious:

Sorry, but this thread is crass. Taking someone to task when they’ve already stated they made a mistake?

Shit, like any of us haven’t been misled by politicians.

Saddam. Is that Rumsfeld?

What about the bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade which was blamed on “old maps”? Then again, I do have a hard time believing that was accidental.

**

Well no because that other thread was not explicitly about this issue and so I and (if I may extrapolate) others didn’t see it. But I saw this one because of the title.

Oh I see, so because many politicians mislead:

1/ I shouldn’t mind, and

2/ It’s OK for Bush to start a freakin war on the basis of misleading information? We are not talking about a minor porky pie about whether he smoked dope or got a blow job here.

Oops. Actually that other thread was about this explicit issue. Sorry about that.

So now please q
And who said either 1, or 2?

What is crass though is to then launch into a gloating rant against a poster who previously said he believed Bush’s claims, and then clearly posted he’d been mistaken.

Sorry, I hit enter instead of ctrl and posted too early. It should ready:

"And who said either 1, or 2?

What is crass though is to then launch into a gloating rant against a poster who previously said he believed Bush’s claims, and then clearly posted he’d been mistaken."

What part of “Sorry about that” don’t you understand, Gary?

Yeah that was a bit crass. Princhester had already said the s/he had missed the other thread.

Get it together will ya

I suppose I should take this moment to restate that I was of the opinion that the President would not start something of this magnitute without complete and total evidence.

I was entirely wrong.

Well what precisely did you mean by your comment:

“Shit, like any of us haven’t been misled by politicians.”

bollocks to the pair of ya

Well, here’s my whole post:

Now I’d say this is a fairly clear statement that I think it is crass to take someone to task when they have already admitted they made a mistake, and were misled by a politician.

Please advise if I can clarify or expand on this?
