Watched it this evening. I hate zombie movies, but this is a good film.
According to the Wiki page, it earned $2.3M at the box office. Is that a typo?

Just outdated or incomplete information, I presume. 4.8M total box office according to The Numbers with another .75M in home sales.
Note that it had a very limited theatrical release.
Loved the movie. I saw the ending coming from a mile away though.
I loved the book and liked the movie. There’s a sequel book (The Boy on the Bridge) which I enjoyed more than I expected, which is definitely worth reading.
I didn’t see it this way until reading this comment, but I think it’s insightful.
Does that mean someone was caring for the feral zombie kids in infancy? Normal kids can’t even pick up readily available food off the floor for ~1 year.
Just bought this for my Kindle. Thanks!
Melanie looks to be among the oldest of the Hungry Kids, aye? So her HKs likely haven’t begun reproducing yet. I can see that infant HKs would have been cared for by the same group that had Melanie, or they would have died from neglect.
That leaves an even smaller gene pool to re-start society, eh.
