I’m not quite certain where to put this thread. It’s going in the Pit (where I rarely post) cause of its subject matter.
A play recently opened off-Broadway called “The Goat.” It’s about a guy and what happens to him andhis family when they find out he’s having an intimate relationship with Sylvia, who happens to be a goat.
I must admit I was confused at first. Gay men have sex with male human beings, so how does a man having sex with a female goat qualify?
Then I noticed the source - thesun.co.uk - and everything became clear. The Sun, that paragon of investigative journalism and open-minded reporting, Britain’s last line of defence against those awful homosexuals, who are always trying to shag our goats, seduce our children (I almost wrote “kids” there) and pollute our precious bodily fluids. Oh yes.
An update to this story appeared in The Sun yesterday, 'coz the man’s trial has ended (he was found guilty). I can’t work out how to search The Sun’s website for old articles, but the report is worth a read for the comedy.
Apparantly, the guy’s soliciter was pressing for some kind of counselling for the man so that he won’t be a danger to goats any more!
