Something the other day reminded me of this song. Have not heard it for years but the 2nd guitar solo is incredible. Angry rock with a Clash-like vibe. I used to have the entire album, don’t remember if it was any good.

That album is very good and a couple of the others are good too. But that song is fantastic. I saw the guitarist play with Del Amitri a few times over the years. The Godfathers still tour the UK each year (bar this one).

Indeed, they were. One of the few times I saw someone close with a Ramones cover and wasn’t disappointed.
