The Great Northwest Dopefest!

I’m going to TRY to be there. If I do attend, I will bring something edible…maybe some fruit or a salad.

Is anyone bringing a musicbox?

Music? How about a sweater?

Heck, I could bring a guitar. Them modren music boxes take batt’ries, y’know.

I’m still trying to decide what to bring. I’d considered the enchilada lasagna, which seemed to be well received at the last Doper pot-luck, but I dunno. It’s better hot, and we have a three hour drive. I’d rather bring something that’s good cold so I can make it tonight and refrigerate it, or another grillable, or something that doesn’t need cooking or refrigerating at all.

So what at this time do we still need more than anything else? I’ll bring that.

Yay! I’m gonna meet me some Dopers IRL!

I’m really sorry other NW Dopers, especially Scotticher and Badge can’t make it though. :frowning:

Along with my family, I’ll be bringing hamburgers, hotdogs (with the required buns and condiments). I’ll probably raid my garage for various outdoor playthings as well.

Viva la Dopefest!

Gr8Kat, just bring a big bag o’ chips!

Sorry, I’m more than a little giddy at the prospect of meeting Dopers!

Denis, maybe Gr8kat could bring some ketchup and mustard, to take some of the burden off of you? I can bring some relish; I know I have some of that loafing around unopened.

And jeez, Czarcasm, beef sbaghetti would definitely be low-carp. No-carp, in fact.

Well, I already bought ketchup (ew!), mustard (blech!), barbecue sauce (yum!), relish and pickles as condiments. If anyone wants to bring lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc, that would be very cool.

For anyone who doesn’t know how to find the park, this Mapquest map shows how close it is to I-5. Piece of cake even for the directionally challenged.

The drinks are bought. I got a 12 pack of Coca Cola, a 12 pack of Mountain Dew, and because the moderator told me it was okay to be cheap, two 12 packs of Diet Sam’s Cola.

Hope that’s fine with everyone. If not, it’s Czarcasm’s fault.

Ok on this end. I got service for 75 (none of it matches), couple tablecloths for good measure. I think that’s a lot, but paper plates never work if you just use 1 and I would hate to be short with all this good food that’s on its way. And live music sounds GREAT! See ya all tomorrow (well today since its after midnight now).

75? Holy hell. Are we even expecting over a dozen at this point?

I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry though.

Service for 25 looked skimpy. Service for 50 was ok. but seeing how many have chimed in, well lets just make sure. And who knows who might just show up.
Im thrilled about this,

Look for a ratty tan Chevy Astro van at the park, or alternately, a pisssed-off moderator hitchhiking north along I-5.

Everyone make it home okay?

I had a great time and look forward to the redux. It was a great time to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon, even if the meterologists didn’t know what the hell they were talking about.

I’d forgotten all about it until I signed on at 3:00 this afternoon. It was pouring here. I hope everyone stayed dry and warm.

Yup. Got home OK.

It was very nice to meet you all. Let’s do it again sometime.

I made it. And I have the pics too, I just need to find a place to put them. That was a very pleasant day, Hope we can do that again, the park was an excellent location as well.

Yep, got home not too long ago. It was good to meet y’all and put some faces to names.
