After the fact I learned that the outtage occurred around 10:30 AM. I didn’t much notice because I was getting ready. By 2:30 PM the Lidocaine was behind me and the IV was ready to go. Not long after that came the Fentanyl and the Midazolam, maybe not in that order.

I am not making this up. April 21, 2016. All of this readied me for the point of it: a couple shots of Betamethasone. First time in my life but let me tell you, I feel much, much (much!) better.

I am grateful for the Great Outtage. I was out of it for at least 24 hours anyway. The timing was quite good IMHO.

The Board was down so long, I was tempted to kill time by filling out the tax form from 2009 that the IRS keeps bugging me about.

Fortunately the Board came back. Temptation averted.
