Making it available. Since the Board is a source of ad revenue, there would be a certain level of priority to getting it up again.
There’s also the risk of losing some members that can also result in a possible loss of revenue.

By golly, yes, multiquote works fine! Another thing that works fine now is being able to stay logged in. For instance, without logging in again I can make this post pointing out that D’Anconia has an honorable mention in the SDMB Worst of the Worst thread.

To be fair, though, not everyone has universally expressed the belief that D’Anconia is a dumbass. There appear to be a number of posters who have firmly expressed their belief that they’ve never heard of him and don’t give a shit, so he has that going for him.
