Just put the cards in my outbound mail this morning - still made the deadline though!
I meant to get mine in the mail last week, but they went out today. I had no idea that the international “forever” postcard stamps are round! So, hey, I learned something today. 
I think they are pretty, with the globe on them.
I agree. I had to ask the gal at the post office to show me the sheet when she put one on one of my postcards. Tres kewl.

I sent each of my recipients two postcards plus a photo, so I put all three items in a small manila envelope. It took a little more postage than a single card.
Yeah, those - I just said I needed postcard stamps, one international - I didn’t pay any attention to the stamp other than “oh that’s round! and pretty!” 
And the postman gave me two cards back!

I got my first card today, from Cunctator! It’s a panoramic view of Sydney, and his house is in the lower right corner he says! I’ve only lived near water once in my life, during the time I was stationed at the Presidio of Monterey, in Calfornia. For a girl raised in Kansas to look out and see open water was so wonderful.
Got Baker and Cunctator’s cards today. Baker, your dog looked so cute sat on santa’s lap haha.

I’m glad my cards have arrived **Baker **and mortal wombat. I’m always impressed by how quickly they can get to the other side of the world.
On Saturday I’m off on three weeks’ holiday. So for those who have sent cards to me, I’m afraid I won’t be at home to receive them. I’ll have to update you all when I get back home.

The two U.S. postcards are stamped and on their way. I think I need to stop at the Post Office to get the proper postage for the third (international) one … or else just take a guess and put two stamps on there.
Unless someone can tell me roughly how much, to send from the US. to Germany?
ETA: my apologies to the recipients in advance for my handwriting. It’s never been great to begin with, and now that I almost exclusively type and hand-write almost NOTHING besides my grocery list, it’s really gotten shot to all hell.
International postcards I think are 34¢ - I just put a regular first class mail stamp on all of mine.
I’m going to buy my postcards this weekend, then they’re off to the races!
