No, it’s ok, I can even understand why some people don’t like the movie at all, it’s exceptionally slow, I grant that, has little plot and not much dialog, it’s not for everyone, but I like it very much anyway, even have the DVD (at least the jury at Cannes thought like me and gave it the palme d’or). The scene with Harry Dean Stanton and Nastassja Kinski behind glass at the peep show gets me every time. And Ry Cooder’s soundtrack! And the cinematography! That’s why I thank you for the link to Robby Muller, I wasn’t aware of him, but obviously think that he was great. I see that he also worked much with Jim Jarmusch, who also is a favorite director of mine.

I haven’t gotten any cards yet and I think nobody has gotten any of my cards yet, but given I’m on this side of the Pond I’m not really worried that they’ve all vanished into the void quite yet.

So I’m confused:
Did you organize this conspiracy before the postcard exchange began? Did you recruit Elendil’s Heir for it, to get you on separate lists? Or, were you just confident you would be on separate lists due to the common practice of spreading the “internationals” around? I was quite (pleasantly) surprised. Nice job.
I received pieces of a blue elephant (Starschnitt Elefant) from The Butterfly’s Ghost and Einstein’s Hund the last exchange, but mkl12 is a new addition. What a neat idea that really brightened my day.
Total Maus? I have to admit, I earlier would’ve thought it had something to do with either of these, both of which have some unpleasant connotations:

As Helena330 said, EinsteinsHund and me sent out the “Elefant Starschnitt” for the last exchange and that was received so well, that we wanted to do something similar this time.
EinsteinsHund, mkl12 and I met a couple of years ago at a German Dopefest, we’re all friends and decided to all participate in this year’s exchange - and thus the conspiracy was born. 
I bought the cards, we met up for a very nice day together to divide up the cards, we shared our respective lists of receipients and sent out the cards. I also recycled the four-leaf-clover idea from last time.
It never really occured to me, that we might end up on the same list. If we had, we’d have thought of something I guess. I was actually hoping to also get Elendil’s Heir personally on our lists, but no such luck.
Elendil’s Heir, if you too, want to achieve Total Maus, please let us know and we’ll send you a set of cards as thanks for always organising the exchange. 
I’m happy to hear that you all like the Maus Starschnitt! We had a lot of fun planning the whole thing and it’s great to see it all come together now. We’ll have a hard time coming up with something as good for the next exchange.
Yesterday I received the most awesome mail from BeeGee! It’s not just a postcard, it’s a set of postcards and stickers and much more!
I haven’t really had the time to really look at it yesterday and I really want to take the time and savour reading it all. But I already love the “Weird Tales” postcard with the picture of a muscular man, fighting a giant snake, that is coiled around his body, with a scimitar and a scantily clad woman looking on. 
I love those kitschy pictures, that card is absolutely perfect for me and I already see that gem of a card framed on my wall!
