I went to Los Angeles a few years ago.
In the US, only New York City has more banking assets than Charlotte.
Charlotte Rampling wasn’t much of an actress, but what a great name! What was that movie where she gets slapped around a lot, and some critic called it “trampling on Rampling”?
don’t you all just really hate road bumps/sleeping policeman/whatever else they’re called (traffic management…). i just see a sign saying ‘ramp’ and my heart sinks. They don’t slow traffice down enough for them to be worthwhile i don’t think. People just speed up in between them, or ruin their cars by going fast over them.
My friend is doing a frame-up restoration of a '69 Chevelle. He’s putting in a big block 396! It should go really fast!

Bryan Adams is pretty cool! I liked that song he did for “Robin Hoods, Prince of Thieves.” The movie took itself way too seriously though, in my opinion. I was kind of glad when it was mocked by “Robin Hood, Price of Thieves.” That is a big pet peeve of mine: when movies “take themselves too seriously.”
Ooops… I think I made up a new movie. That second title is suppose to be “Robin Hood, Men in Tights.” I am trying to think of recent movies that are way too serious about themselves.
