Ah, RotorHead, am I haiku on my own petard?

Yipes! Look at that - a triple.

More like a pair and a half, isn’t it?

Ode dear, sonnets like you were drawn and quatrained. But your petard is safe.

How do you manage a triple post? I’ve never even double-posted (yet).

Thanks for letting this hack spar with the master.

Abby, do you actually get credit for each post in a multi-post episode like that? If you do, it seems like it would be a good way to boost the post count. Just curious.

Hack? RotorHead, you aren’t talking about yourself, are you? You’re a long way from a hack. I haven’t faced a challenge this fine in quite a while. It was thoroughly FUN.

Well, like I said, I really am a one-trick pony in some respects. Limericks being that one trick. Well, I can sort’ve do Dr. Seuss. But if the challenge had gone to another arena, you would have found me poor competition.

Speaking of Dr. Seuss, that seems to be the way my attempts at drawing go. Some weird mix of Dr. Seuss and The Far Side.

I have noticed though, that my skill at rendering a satisfying drawing seems to be directly correlated to my level of boredom. Has anyone else found that to be true, or am I just the lone freak?

You are the lone freak. :stuck_out_tongue:

:smack: That is what I was afraid of.

I’ve managed to quadruple-post at least five times, including quadruple-posting a new thread at least twice. (two different threads) Once, it was because the Internet was being way too slow at my brother’s. The other times, I’m not too sure what happened.
Speaking of poems, here are two that I wrote in the past.

Here’s one I wrote in February when I was feeling really sick:

Here’s one I wrote in March when I was feeling really bad over something which had happened with one of my online friends:

I’m not sure those are very well-written… then again, I used to write stories involving goat royalty. (yes, I was a kid at the time… how did you guess? :D)

(by the way, the situation outlined in my second poem is more-or-less resolved)
F_X

Hi, there, F_X! I liked your poems. Do you do limericks, too? It was so much fun jousting with RotorHead that I’ve started a new thread to continue the game.

<hijack – well, that is (or was) what this game was about, wasn’t it? {Though that was so long ago…}> I finally got around to reading the airdisc birthday imbroglio. Snicker giggle snort hawhaw!!! </hijack>

I have no idea.

Eddy, my dear. Curses!!! Now I wont get anything useful done today. I saw that thread. I actually have things I need to do, and here you are, causing me to be ever more addicted to sitting here.

I had a good one for “dictatorship” which was funny (at least in my own mind), but I was too slow. That may be my problem in there. I did manage to put one up, after three times losing the battle of speed.

I fear what you have just unleashed. Though I was trying to think of a good thread like that myself.

NASA to crash probe to protect Jupiter’s moon

It served well. It was meant to go around 11 times and it went 35.

I would think it a nice experiment to contaminate Europa with Earth bacteria, and see what happens. Then someday when we can send a manned exploration, see how the life is going.

At least that way, instead of wondering if there is extra-terrestrial life, we can say “yep, there it is. we created it.”
