The Hopi Native Americans believe we are at the end of fourth world. There’s still the 5th world. We have a chance to save the world but will we?
We must remember that Hopi prophecies are not contemporary readings of world events, but statements made centuries or perhaps millennia ago. These disturbing commentaries on our current state of global affairs were simply relayed through the generations to the present via the Hopi oral tradition, with very few alterations made in the process.

Do the ancient Hopi prophecies give us any practical advice, as to what we must do now to save the world?
I’m more of a Paiute Guy.
@Senegoid Native Americans gave us advice, but greed and lies are more important than advice/
Seattle then rose to speak. He rested his hand upon the head of the much smaller Stevens, and declaimed with great dignity for an extended period. No one alive today knows what he said; he spoke in the Lushootseed language, and someone translated his words into Chinook Indian trade language, and a third person translated that into English.

To be sure, Chief Seattle was not a Hopi.
No He wasn’t. He was right though. Russell Means is someone who got down and dirty. He got Congresses the FBI, and the worlds attention though. Look how old the congressmen are now.
Best speech ever. Well Al Pacino (Scent of a woman).
As the leader of AIM, Means led its 1973 armed occupation of the South Dakota town of Wounded Knee. It was the site of the 1890 massacre of some 350 Lakota in the last major conflict of the American Indian wars.
In what became a 71-day siege that involved gun battles with federal officers and the deaths of two FBI agents, Means, his fellow AIM leader Dennis Banks (who passed away from cancer on Oct. 29, 2017) and others demanded government recognition of historic treaties and protested corrupt tribal governance.

Where in the video is he talking about the Hopi cycles of time?

for humankind.
Book mark the site.
A video marks each turning.
The latter part of the story tells about the tribal elders going to our Capital in Washington DC. I think that was on the 3rd turning.

BREAK BREAK/ The Storm video is new info.
I hadn’t known that. What I didn’t realize is it ties right into the lawsuit.
When I posted the Storm video, I didn’t know about the lawsuit they have. When I read the lawsuit I thought I’d tag @Senegoid

The Onondaga Nation is suing the State of New York, the City of Syracuse, Onondaga County, and five corporations for illegal land takings and damage inflicted on Central New York’s environment. The corporate defendants are:
So, what we have is a translation of a translation. From a language from one language group to another one and a limited trade language at that, and then into Victorian prose. Not only that, but what we have is some notes made at the time, later written up as a speech. By a white guy. Thirty years later. Seems real reliable. And there is the further possibility this writer wasn’t even there. And the notes are lost, probably destroyed.
I would agree that many(most) Native Americans would be familiar or knowledgeable about the world ending so to speak. They had almost been completely wiped out by disease, and then white settlers were showing up ready to finish the job.
