I received the link for the horror of blimps story a couple days ago from a friend. Usually, I’m sorting through who-knows-how-many forwarded e-mails… but this one caught my eye…
I’ve always been facinated by blimps since I was about 8 or 9 and I saw one up in the sky. I didn’t know what it was at the time, so I insisted to my parents that it was a UFO. I had to learn the heard way… Ahh… brings back memories… 
Anyhow, I LOVED the story!! It made me laugh out laud, which most things hardly faze me. It was great! Good job, Scylla, and keep up the good work!
Btw, I’m super new here, as of a few minutes… so is there any other stories that Scylla has written?? Sorry for my ignorance…

Ok so I followed a link to here from my board Mystrealm which is a gaming board for M/R/E/D avids (Myst, Riven, Exile, D’ni geeks), in the General Conversation Section.
Then I promptly turned around and posted a link to it on another board of which I am a member Mousepad in their Lounge. (Yeah, I’m a Disney geek too)

Don’t ask me. I just did it again (as in, I typed in the phrase “the horror of blimps” with no quote marks) and came up with “about 2,270” hits. Lower than the last time. Still impressive, though. I expect it has something to do with their super-secret weighting system.

Not quite six days ago I posted about how many hits this thread was getting. Since then there have been over 27000 more hits. Being anal about numbers I worked it out and discovered the rate is actually increasing. Back then it was about one hit every 22 seconds. It’s at a little over three hits a minute now, or one every 19 seconds.
[27211hits/(5.927083days * 1440)]=3.188 hits per minute
