Wagner pisses off everyone in the civilized world, save me.
You keep your eyes closed?:dubious:
Then explain porn. :dubious:
Which means you’re uncivilized!
Morning, mumpers!
Blurf!
It’s crazy busy at work this week, we have all the processing for supplementary exams to finish and I have two exam boards to sit through today. Is there enough tea in the world to get me through the day?
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 74 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 92 and very dry conditions whatever that means. I did not post last night and I’m sure y’all were worried. I got home, made dindin, we et, the kitchen got cleanded up and after that I just crashed. I felt tahrd and a little ick, so I made an early evenin’ of it.
Red yay for gettin’ sprung! Hope things go well with the surgery next week.
I read but didn’t retain much, so yays, boos, hugs, kisses, trouts, chitlins, noogies, how you doin’s all around as needed.
And now, the latest from MOOOOOM’S life as a [del]pirate[/del] tourist on the high seas.
Blurf. That is all.

Up, caffeinated, off to work. Nice out this morning.
How do you folks become so motivated so early in the morning?
:dubious:
Mawnin all and Happy Thorsday
Up,Caffinating and a bit Blurfy
I read Cartooniverse’s post from that fateful day and am feeling…well I don’t know what
Probably shouldn’t have done that
Jim
Necessity. Gotta go to work/school.
I remember - I was getting dressed - I had an appointment for pre-op testing and a pre-op class to attend (for my hip replacements). I thought I’d misheard the news report, then I thought they were talking about a Cessna or something. I was in the car when the second plane hit. I could hear the fear and horror in the reporters’ voices. I was still a few miles from the hospital when the first tower fell. I had to pull over to the side of the road so I could concentrate on the news.
I got to the hospital and had some tests. But there was a lot going on, because this hospital had be designated a backup destination for the less critical patients. I watched, in the waiting room with several other people, as the second tower fell. They cancelled the class and sent us all home. On the route home, there were cops setting up security checkpoints. My route took me over the main highway into NYC. The outbound lanes were completely empty; the inbound lanes had fire and emergency vehicles as far as the eye could see, all heading in to help. I will never forget that sight.
And my FB feed is full of truther BS
Aaaaaaaaaaaargh
Jim
Happy Thorsday!
It’s an overcast 73 degrees with a projected high of 87 today. Too hot for me, I guess I will have to close my window.
The dog was being a brat last night, up and down all night, wanting to go out, come in and go right back out. He moves his bed from one side of the room to the other, huffing and puffing the whole time.
I haven’t talked to my mother in over a week. I’m still mad at her, I don’t know or care if she is mad at me. I’m afraid she will say the wrong thing and I am going to explode so it’s better to avoid her.
Eight more days, just eight more days.
I was dropping Sah-son off at school when the first tower was hit. I remember thinking it was some dumb cessna pilot again. After I dropped him off I heard what was really going on and I turned right around to get him. The school didn’t want me to take him but I insisted. I wanted him with me. I barely got home when the county closed all the schools. I live near Ft Meade and NoSuchAgency. I expected them to be a target as well.
{{{Rosie}}} I can’t even begin to imagine what it was like to be living in NY at the time.
Our Zombiefest is coming up ------- in case you want to order one custom made. I know some people who would probably be happy to make one.
Hey! I could be his Minister and/or Psychologist! And look at me!
There’s a bad apple in every bunch. :dubious:
So now my loan is in underwriting
I should know something by Monday
It should be approved, I thought it already was but now it’s still a waiting game.
I’m getting people to help me move lined up.
OAOASO has a trailer and he is willing to help. He is strong and a truck driver so he’ll be able to do a lot of lifting and be able to back the trailer in anywhere.
My niece said her current and ex bf are willing to help. With Sah-son that is four strong men.
Of course I haven’'t picked a day yet. Then again I really don’t have a whole lot to move. If it wasn’t a two hour drive each way I’d just move stuff in bits and pieces. I prefer that nobody is here when I move out.
Wow Mumpers
I went to the store, a short walk, and noticed something was just out of wack. Took a while to figure it out and then it hit me…
I am not walking in an oven, yep only 91f/33c here in lovely Houston TX at noonish
Have a great day
Jim
I just called a store because I wanted to see when they were open.
“Hello, I wanted to know what your hours are.”
“We’re open today eleven to seven.”
“Are those your hours every day of the week?”
“Nope.”
