StickyBuns what does the school site say about dress for PE teachers? I’d think jeans and sneaks would be ok. I mean all you gotta do is hand 'em a basketball and say, “try not to kill each other.”

Snow was a big bust here, Sticky. We were supposed to get 4"-8". The ground’s nicely covered, but nothing stuck to the streets because it was so warm when it started. So no snow day today for my son. Would have been a GREAT morning for a snowy run, but I don’t have time, alas.

Near as I can tell, we got about an inch anna half at the house overnight, but it’s raining now. According to the weather folk, as the day progresses, it’s supposed to get colder and snowier, meaning right now is the best weather of the day. We shall see.
My daughter’s school district is closed today - I’m sure she’s happy. I swear, teachers seem to want snow days more than the kids do! She may have off tomorrow also - the county has lots of roads and few plows, so school busses often can’t get where they have to go.
Meanwhile, I shall attempt to complete the drawing from hell today.

We got snow. Two inches of the fluffy kind. I’ve got the car warming up and defrosting right now. Not for the snow, for the fact that it also rained last night and my wipers are frozen to my windshield.
So far today I’m feeling a bit better. Yesterday was bad bad bad. I slept all the way through the night, though so that should help. Still don’t wanna leave the house but I have to or else they won’t pay me.
I’m usually not this organized! It’s one of those days where everyone is running in 90 different directions and getting home late at different times.

I think we might be getting some sleet here. Whatever is hitting my window is particularly noisy. I supposed it could just be big raindrops propelled by the wind, but dang!! It just looks miserable out there.

Once again the “No Snow” signs are workin’ great. Sunny but windy here. I want my Spring too MOOOOOOM. Yeah, yeah, yeah, at least I don’t have to deal with snow and ice on a regular basis but I do not like cold weather. At all. Come on Spring and Summer! Da bear needs warmin’ up!

Didn’t burn or partay the house down, despite being left in charge of the nuthouse. I did have some awful cheesy music turned up loud, but that was about it
In fact, I’m acting like a responsible growed-up today; I’ve already gone to the recycling centre and done my shopping, and I’m shortly going to do some washing 'n cooking 'n general tidying up too.
Nothing but rain here in Annapolis. I get to start my day on the roads of Prince Georges County at 11am, possibly doing live shots.
I was so hoping we would avoid this event this year.
Things I have not done in awhile but hope to do again:
Potomac Appalachian Trail Club log cabin rental: I will do one soon with my kids.
More boating with friends & family? Here comes the summer.
Vacation trip? Gotta save up for it.
That’s all I got for awhile…
It’s this type of attitude that make it hard for me to find a date.
No snow here, just wind and sloth. I might rearange the kitchen today. I got an IM from Hockey Lady:) this morning. She managed to crush her phone with her bare hands last night.:eek:
