The **I'm Sick and it Sucks Club**

Um, I think I feel slightly better after reading this. I’m on vacation (!) and have an irritating head cold. Yesterday, I thought the right side of my head was going to implode. There was more seepage in my head than in the Hoover Dam. (Yeah, I’m in Nevada). But this is nothing compared to what some of you are going through. Hope you all feel better soon!

::passes around the Dayquil and Aleve Sinus::

I started feeling sick on Christmas Eve. Left work early and spent the next four days in bed, venturing out of my apt only twice for food. Had a low fever, stuffy/runny nose, splitting headache and a nasty, hacking cough. I’m also in a high-risk group due to chronic athsma. No flu shot for me yet! I’m feeling better now, down to a slight cough and stuffy head, but I’m losing my voice!
And I have to got dig my car out of the snow in an hour to go to work.

Count me in. While it may suck to be sick while traveling, I do have to say that the room service at the Westin rocked the free world. I sent my mom and sisters out for dinner and I ordered in.

Nothing can give me the warm fuzzies like being served raspberry sorbet on in crystal on ice while I’m wearing my froggie pjs.

Much better sickie care than my absentee and pissed off family. Wish I could go back for a few days.

[sub]Unfortunately, I have to go to an even worse place to be sick in. School. Ick. i need to get better now.[/sub]

I bought some Breathe Right nasal strips with mentholated vapors. You apply one to your nose and scratch the strip to release the vapors. It really helped me sleep last night. You might want to give 'em a try, if you’ve got the sinus crap. Hope everybody’s feeling better.
