**doggio **- you don’t have curtains? When Higgs drives me too crazy with the barking, I close the curtains in one room and the blinds in the other. What she can’t see doesn’t make her crazy, and it doesn’t depend on foliage. 
That Somebody poked head shaped holes in the blinds at eye level. Stoopid dog.
One of neighbors told me I have a nice dog.
I think he meant because my dog doesn’t bark, or charge the fence or anything when he walks by.
I didn’t tell him it’s because my dog is too blind and deaf to notice.
Although the dog will stand and stare when somebody walks by. I think he can see well enough to know something is there but not well enough to know what/who it is.
The new sheers are washed, dried, ironed, and hanging in the dining room, and the old sheers are in the trash. Now, how long till the idiot cats snag them?

My youth orchestra conductor had a cat who completely destroyed a tent.
My curtains have holes in them from where previous cats used to put their claws in them. We need new curtains.
Oh, and my mother’s going off the rails again, but nobody in the family is able or willing to take her to the psych ward. I dunno. I don’t know if there’s much I can do except hope that she doesn’t end up doing anything too insane to me or anyone else.

Barring a miracle, we’re going to have to have Mickey the Schnoodle (Bubba’s sister) put to sleep tonight. She has Cushing’s disease and some other things going on. Today she is having trouble walking and is clearly in pain. My dad is taking her to the vet in a little bit.
Putting a dog to sleep is a tough decision, but when you get to that point, you know it’s what you have to do. Bernie and Scruffy had to be let go within a year of each other - it doesn’t get easier. {{{Sticky}}}
