The Insomniac MMP!

No rain up this end of the county, dagnabbit!

The family room is put back together and the computer is connected and working. **FCD **came home then ran out again with the seat pan he built for his bike - he’s going to talk to some upholsterers about it. As soon as he gets his butt back home, I’ve got to build supper. I’s stahvink!!

I should sleep well tonight, even without the help of Mel.

I’ve seen that in my campus bookstore. Maybe not the same brand as what you saw, but same concept.

I avoid that display myself. My job involves enough ickies without inflicting that on myself at school (I’m not majoring in anything relating to medicine or small children, so can avoid it).

Getting a major headache from the equipment being used to resurface the parking lot.

The thunderboomin’ continues apace. Have I mentioned how glad I am that all of this weather held off until after I got home?

It’s clouded over and thundering - I hope some serious rain follows.

Supper was yum - salmon, carrots, and instant smashed N.O.T.s - ice cream later. I think I’ve earned a lazy evening.

Dindin has been et and the kitchen is cleanded. ‘Tis thunderatin’ all around and rain is promised. A good evenin’ to be safely tucked away inside da cave.

FYI tp is the only thing crap related I want to hang in my bathrooms. :stuck_out_tongue:

Busy at work. There are off and on showers and thunder, so Gordie’s long walk is delayed. Making Parmesan crusted chicken with sage rice and spinach. Another round of storms coming.

.

as long as it doesn’t look like thus.

“70% Post Consumer Materials” :eek::wink:

Midget, hope the vacation thing works out. 42 days till Convention in Nashville for me.

Hope the headache goes away, Nettie.

BBBobbio, glad the wife is gonna live. And glad you got to trade war stories

doggio, while you’re in Nashville, give me aholler and I’ll buy you supper.

This afternoon, I didn’t get the traffic report until too late. A tractor trailer turned over where the parkway empties onto I-40. Lettuce, oranges, peaches, 'maters and the like all over the place. I hope the driver is ok.

Probably not going to happen until the paving equipment goes away.

Not much rain here, but the temp has really dropped - I just opened the house for the first time in a week. Huzzah!

I think it’s time to crawl into bed - I’s tahred!! *** MWAH!!***

DIGGERLAND!!!
WOOHOOOOOO!!!

Our P&R can barely find their asses with both hands let alone discounts at out-of-state amusement parks. But the park itself has a pretty good deal where you get a gift card in advance at a discount. You can use it for admission and then other things (like a backhoe loader if I’m lucky and the wife isn’t looking) once you’re in the park.

Are you positive it was an accident and that they were actually crab? There are some very strange people out there cooking some pretty terrible things, after all.

And first on two! Screw this; I’m going to buy a lottery ticket!

It did not rain.

I’ll let you know, red.

I was just looking at pictures of some old-timey boxwood clarinets on a Boston museum website. They reminded me of the time I played a boxwood clarinet. Why its owner let me play the priceless instrument outside in the rain at 2 AM after I’d had a whole pitcher of beer, I’ll never know.

$34.95 @ gate, $22 from P&R

annnd. the dog threw up.:smack:

Ewwwww. Thanks all for the hand-holding. Lucky LOUIE finally eased off at 4. I had <4 hrs sleep. But I made it. Got a lot done but still overwhelmed. Off to sleep.

There ****** are peeps w/ money.

Well, we got our rain last night, and LOTS of it! As an added bonus, the temps and humidity have plummeted also - it was 68° when I let Higgs out. More rain ahead and temps closer to average (80°) so yay!

I did so much yesterday, I don’t know what I’ll do today. I should spend some time in my studio. And the bathrooms could stand a cleaning (ick) and at the very least, I need to reassemble the carpet cleaner since its components are dry now. I should also put away all the stencil stuff that’s spread all over the dining room table. And after that, who knows?

I’m just lovin’ the cool with the windows open. Happy Tuesday!

Happy Toosday!

It’s a cool 63 degrees and supposed to rain.

I’m up too early. Today is pre op test day, I’m stressed and can’t sleep.
So I decided since I am up to finish filling out the FAFSA. Oh fuck you federal government. It takes longer to fill out the form than they allow so I kept getting a popup saying I had to click ok or I’d time out. After I clicked okay half the data would disappear and I’d have to start all over. Then after I got my information to sign the application, Sah-son has to go through all the steps, so he could sign the application.
The actual application itself is easy. it’s creating the damn electronic signatures that took so long.

Anyway, that is all done.

I’m going to try to get some more sleep. I have to leave between 10 and 11, get to my friend’s house, and she will drive me to the hospital. I hope she knows how much I appreciate it, if I had to drive downtown I’d be a wreck by the time I got there.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 68 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 88 and rain/tstorms/apocalypse. I’ll believe it when and if it happens. We got some rain yestiddy but not the deluge that was predicted.

Sari hope all goes well with the pre-op stuff today.

Ok that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Conference call this mornin’. Rah.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!
