I dated an avid skydiver for a while, and I went up in the observation seat once. There’s all sorts of interesting traditions in the skydiving world. Like eating all sorts of vile and nasty things before going up in the plane so that you can torture the other jumpers with your farts in the confined space of the cabin, hopefully causing some of the rookies to puke.
The observation seat was in the back of the plane, right next to the door everyone jumped out of. There were a good dozen jumpers on our flight, and I admit there was a very lemming/sheep like urge to just jump out after her and the rest of the crew. I didn’t have long to think about that, though, because the pilot then sent us into a steep nosedive so that I could try and see her land.
No toothpick for jumping out of a perfectly good plane.
I’ve never voted for a political candidate, only parties. Since the Swedish election system also allows you to vote for a specific candidate on the party list (which I have not done), I’m going to count that as a no, pending clarification from Revenant Threshold.
And I’ve never skydived, though I’d like to some day.
Don’t worry about it. With the drive in and the Miracle Whip, I think we’re still ahead on that point :). And, it would have to be something like “never crossed the borders of the US” to make a differrence in my case.

**Also, I am not insane enough to leap out of a plane and hurtle at terminal velocity towards the ground. **I have enough trouble with just plane travel, let alone non-plane travel.
