The "I've Never" Game (Game in Progress)

Oh God…I think I’m going to have to avoid the thread until this stomach flu passes…see y’all in 24 hours, I hope! :frowning:

I once ate a slimy, disgusting mollusc that I believe was a non-oyster (a clam or a mussel or whatever - I’m pretty sure it wasn’t described as an oyster). I do not intend to repeat this experience.

Nope. And they just look gross.

I’ve eaten Mussels and I didn’t like it much, but never an Oyster. So I’ll keep this 'pick.

Yes, yes I have eaten an oyster.
It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. I would do it again, but I don’t know that I would pay for it.

@WhyNot : yes, raw oysters are still alive. In fact, the best way to ascertain whether the oyster you’re about to gulp down is bad and will give you food poisoning is to pour a few drops of lemon juice on the edge of the goo.
If the mucus, I mean oyster instantly retracts, it’s still alive and good to eat. If it doesn’t move, it’s dead, and since you have no idea how long it’s been dead, you’d better not eat it.

Or, you could just not eat any of the disgusting things, ever. They taste like semen anyway.

I’ve eaten some gross things, but never an oyster.

Now that gives me an idea. Maybe I should save my planned statement for my next turn and go with something less effective but more interesting this time.

Yes, I’ve eaten oyster, and it tastes petty much like semen.

But my mom & dad seem to like it, so I ate it with them “every” recent new-years I spent with them (which is quite a few n/y ago).

**Oysters Rockefeller are delicious. Oysters done with any other preparation are not. **

Once. I was unimpressed.

I had raw oysters once. They were… meh.

Nah. They never have pearls in them (like in the cartoons) but they don’t try to chomp down on your hand (again, like in cartoons). They are just too boring* to eat.

*says me, whose toothpick collection is embarassingly large.

 Am I seriously the only one playing who likes shooters???

If that is so, I must be sure to go out and over-indulge on them soon…

Not one for seafood much of the time, but shellfish freak me out

Jragon, you may post your next Never.

Yes, I have eaten oysters.

oops- wrong thread!

Does the game end after round three, or does it keep going until one person is left with all the toothpicks?

I think it will be over after round 3, but if not, the one with the most toothpicks will win. Minor tweak in the original rules, but I think we’d go on forever if not. :stuck_out_tongue:
