Just voted in Alabama, it was pretty crowded but organized and I was in an out in 15 minutes tops. Voted Clinton, but most of the other races only had Republicans (the Democratic party in Alabama is a FUBAR) and there were 11 Constitutional Amendments (Alabama may have the longest constitution in exsistence).
Just got back from my neighborhood polling place. It was heartening to see so many people in line, compared to other years when I’ve been outnumbered by poll workers.
President: Clinton
US Senator: Harris
US Representative: Savary. Maybe this year we’ll finally unseat Dana Rohrbacher.
California State Assembly: Albert-Sheridan. Also hoping to oust Travis Allen.
Orange County Water District: Dominguez, because he opposes the proposed desalination plant.
California ballot measures: not gonna list them all but I voted to overturn the death penalty and to ban plastic grocery bags. I will leave you to imagine my opinion on condoms and marijuana.
Heh, I wore Nasty Woman in solidarity.
I voted Saturday. The line was a bit long but not too bad. Evidently a nearby polling location wasn’t running because the computers were down.
I’m not a huge fan of Hillary but I like her enough. Far more than the orange garbage fart.
I’m more excited about voting for Tammy Duckworth, she the descendant of ancient Chinese secret American Revolutionary War fighters.
Just Voted in the Maryland suburbs, straight Democratic ticket. No lines, but that is typical at this polling place at this time of day.
I haven’t been out today, but over the last couple weeks 100% of the few dozen signs I’ve seen illegally taped to traffic light poles or set out in public road medians have been for Trump. Conversely, legally placed signs in yards seem to run about 50/50.
I oughta go get off my rump and drive by my local polling place to see what it looks like. Having voted absentee over a month ago I’m enjoying not having to be any part of the final flail.
I got robocalls from both Mike Huckabee and Jerry Falwell, Jr. informing me that it was “my duty” to “render unto Caesar” (their exact words) by voting. But when I got to the polling station, Caesar wasn’t on the ballot in my precinct! Since I was already there, I went ahead and voted for Ms. Clinton.
I’m sure they are just as proud of the fact that I voted for Clinton as they would have been if I voted for their buddy Caesar.
Voted locally. No ballot initiatives this year. Found a Republican or two downticket that I felt comfortable voting for, cast a vote for a Green, otherwise the Democratic Party mostly has my support this season.
Just Voted. Got (and am wearing) my sticker.
Crowded as Hell… and yeah, the local utility “suddenly” decided to do work on the corner… with a police car with lights flashing next to them.
Not "proveable " intimidation.
While I was there, a scummy 20-something Caucasian walked to the school with his 5 day beard… and with a paper bag in his hand holding One Large 6-8 inch L-Shaped Object.
I was leaving already… what would you have me do?
Tackle a Republican Asshat who probably had a 40 Oz malt liquor “Trump Special” and was looking to claim “Intimidation! Intimidation!”…?
No. I saw police cars nearby & knew that if shit-head started anything, what would be left of that Scumbag Republican would be indistinguishable from Patė…
In and out of my downtown Las Vegas polling place in 10 minutes. Expected more people and 8:30 am, but early voting here was off the charts.
Voted in Sherman Oaks, CA about an hour ago. (San Fernando Valley, near Burbank.) +1 for Hills.
I was there at 7:30 am and when I voted, about another 40 were voting, some signing in at tables and about 60+ people in line. So I’d say this is a good turnout. I’m betting we’ll have a large percentage of registered voters coming out of the woodwork today.
Voted in Akron, OH. at 10 this morning. Steady lines. Took about 15 minutes.
I have just returned from voting. There is exactly one thing that I personally can do to keep ( are you kidding me?? ) Donald Trump out of the White House, and I proudly did. This time was a relief, because I feared a repeat of what happened during my Primary vote. Then, I approached the check in table, and after stating my name was asked for an ID. I didn’t raise Holy Hell, but I did question the request and admonish the election person. I also notified anyone within earshot that Illinois has no voter ID mandate, and let the officials at the place know that this was important. This time, today, I stated my name as usual, was handed a card to sign as usual, watched my signature be verified as usual, proceeded to pick up a ballot as usual, and did what I could do to keep the unqualified ( are you freeking kidding me? ) Donald Trump in New York, and not Washington.
I voted. In and out in under 10 minutes. Looks like we had tons of early voters. I am in Florida so I voted for medical marihuana and against a badly worded solar amendment. Also voted straight Democrat. The only thing I skipped was some judgeships where I had no knowledge of the candidates.
Just voted in CA 48th (which used to be the infamous CA 47, R +7). Light turnout but there were some technical problems with the ballot machines not working so we had to do it the old fashioned way. While I was there, a few people came in, saw that the lines were longer than 15 minutes and left with a mutter. They looked Republican
Plankter, were there any problems with the machines in your area?
372 in my precinct; straight Democratic ticket and I voted to raise the judicial retirement age to 75.

The only option for us was filling in the oval with a marker they provided. There was an older gentleman there who had barely joined the line and was already complaining about the wait!? The worker asked is he had a better system (a main line broke off into lines by letter when they called out the letter ranges) and he said no, but he wasn’t being paid to do it. Of course neither was she or any of the workers.
I’m heading over to drop off my absentee ballot now. Vote people, vote!! This has been such a crazy election season…
No problems that I know of. My polling place is in an affluent suburb in Orange County (it’s been called “the Beverly Hills of Little Saigon”), so I’d be surprised if anything didn’t go according to plan.
Showed up at 6:30 and first in line, so I went through the First Voter Anti-Fraud Protocol (inspected every empty bin and zeroed numeric counter).
For the first time in my life, my pix for the US President, US Senator, Congressional Representative and State Senator were all women. This male feminist couldn’t be more proud or hopeful.
I voted in Ohio.
I have been working hard on two local city issues, to get them passed. I am just as wound up about those as I am the presidential race.
I have a bad jaw and I haven’t had stress-related jaw pain in years. Today I am about worn out from jaw pain.
