The last in 2011 MMP

Having your family home and (somewhat) healthy is a great way to end the year. I’m glad he’s back and eating. Keeping my fingers crossed that your night ends quietly and happily.

Went to church today (good way to end the old year!)
Li-li,So glad the little dude is better.
Hope the rest of ya’ll have a great (& safe!) night. Happy 2012!

(BTW rosie, that’s very pretty!)

Happy New Year('s Eve) everyone!

I’m spending a rousing evening staying in playing games. Culinary Boy is at an AA NYE party and we’re moving in two days. Culinary Boy has more sense than I do when it comes to realistic moving schedules.

Soon I will be regaling you all with tales of Mysterio, the Spanish-Understanding Cat.

Best Buy sucks. My son bought a laptop from them last August. He now has battery and/or battery jack issues. The cord has to be held a certain in order for the computer to read that’s charging.

Best Buy told him it would take up to five weeks to repair. Um, I think not. We told him to go get his computer and contacted a local computer repair business. The repair should take four days at most, and that’s if they have to order parts.

Yeah, we’ll have to pay, but he needs the computer for school, and besides, by the time I would pay to insure and ship the computer back to him at school, I’d pay just as much.

I try really hard to not do business with Best Buy anymore, but he did get a good deal on the laptop. It’s pretty much their customer service that sucks.

Well, I need to go put my face on so I’m presentable for public consumption.

I hope you all have a very Happy New Year celebration, whether it’s just kicking back at home and enjoying a quiet evening, or going out and celebrating.

did that, greens are cooked! omnomnomnom… >^.^<
I was taught to put many kinds of green together: I haz collard, mustard, turnip, kale, swiss chard, ‘dinosaur kale’ and spinach… cooked with genuine salt pork! Not safe for vegetarians at all

I has a sleepy. See all y’all next year.

Happy New Years to all.

Jayz Og, I hope it’s better than this last one.

Did rice and chicken wings. Just watched the Doctor Who Christmas special, and am poking Gordie. Wild night, ain’t it?

I dun kilt the MMP. Or I’m the only one still sober enough to post.

What are you doing to that poor dog?

It’s only 8:13 here, but I don’t expect a lot of revelry out of us two tonight anyway.

Happy New Year to all you MMPers!

Poking him. With my finger. What were thinking, Mr. Potty mind?

See y’all next year!!!

Happy New Year, Mumpers!

Time to go to bed.

Happy New Year

Me too.

Happy New Year, everyone!

I have a wonderful evening and now I’m home trying not to think about having to get up early to go to church in the morning.

Good night!

ETA: Only in my house would I not be able to put my laptop where I normally do because there’s a** harpoon** in the way.

The last MMP post of 2011!

Bunch drunk rednecks across the river are shooting guns. What is it about New Years, guns and stupidity? Don’t matter where you are in this country, put those three things together and you get the same result every time. Sheesh. Glad I don’t have to worry about a dog.

Night everyone. Here’s to hoping 2012 is an improvement over the previous installment.

Gosh, and I hadn’t even mentioned I was sick. :warm fuzzies:

rosie, that was pretty!
Happy New Year, y’all, and all that jazz.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 56 Amurrkin out and foggy as all get out! The predicted high is 70 and sunny for the day. Nice way to start out a new year weatherwise.

Pretty much everything is ready for the big New Year’s Dindin. I will need to make cornbread, rice and grill the poke tenderloins. <snerk> tenderloins! <snerk> Y’all didn’t think I’d let that go by now did ya?

Feel better Nava!

Fiat believe it or not nobody around here shot off guns or fireworks at least as far as I know. We had some champagne around nine last night and then went beddy bye. Midnight came and went with nary a peep from either of us. Well, probably some snorin’ but other than that not a peep.

Tomorrow is OYKW’s bday. We will then be the same age until my bday in July. Also, per the rules he gets what he wants for dindin. Waffles, bacon and scrambled aigs have been requested. He likes brekkie for dindin. I can handle that. We do not make a big deal out of bdays. I got him a card and there will be “appreciation” in addition to the requested bday dindin. We don’t do presents cause well, if’n we want/need sump’n we pretty much just go out and buy it. Just us.

This is the place where I’m supposed to say “Happy New Year.” Since Rosie said it so well yestiddy, well, what she said!

I need more caffiene and should put some food type substance in rumbly tummy. Then, I shall purtify for deheathenization.

Happy Sunday and New Year’s Y’all!

Well, Navytown sure sounded like an Afghani firefight. At least it fireworks. I shot off 4 bottle rockets myself, then went to bed.

Should I be ashamed that I’m happy that my grandparents don’t want to go to church this morning? :dubious:

They are both ok, but for some reason they get sort of funny about going to church in the winter. Although, the reason they didn’t want to go today is because it’s raining. Whatever, works for me. I can go back to bed after I find something for breakfast.
