Finally, I know that I’m not alone in thinking Zeldar’s list obsession is strange. These days, I only browse the SDMB using New Posts, so I hadn’t really noticed all of the polls. But, in the past, I’ve noticed his extreme precision with lists and rankings. The style that springs to mind is when he is reviewing what other posters have said. He makes a list (of course!) and each entry has poster, join date, post date, thread title, then the quote. It must take him forever to compose these posts. It doesn’t bother me, but I’m intrigued by the motivation behind it.

I think there is a good chance you are wrong. He readily agreed to cut back after a polite suggestion. He was not instructed to do so he volunteered.
