The Lord & Cameron

At first, this was slated for GD, but then it occurred to me that some healthy excoriation might be in order here. Apologies to the pit for the tepidness.

By US standards, this guy is almost a commie.

But really, if you need some Zombie Hebrew to tell you right from wrong, wrong is clearly where your head is at. If you need faith in a purple Unicorn to impel you to help the less fortunate, I have to say, underneath your beatific and kind countenance, you are a truly vile person. And the thought that you think this stuff is appropriate for children is just plain apauling.

See, Jesus was this guy who said some stuff about how we ought to treat each other. But he never went beyond talking, because he was the guy sitting on the stolen donkey, not the guy in the big chair in the marble palace, the one who actually got the stuff done.

As wise as he might have been, Jesus H. Christ never ran a country, balanced a budget or won an election, he was an outsider, traveling with a small band of hippies and thugs. This is not acceptable leadership material, and this is why we do not want anyone dragging him into the halls of power.

So, yeah, pray all you want, and drink some nice blood this weekend, like a proper ghoul. But keep it in your church, we do not need your goddam “saviour” screwing up what he has no business fucking with.

I’m not at all comfortable with the level of your invective, but, in general, yes, I certainly agree that Cameron is going too far in trying to insert his religious faith into the apparatus of government.

Oh how cute. Another asshat bravely denouncing Jesus on the internet.
I bet your mother is proud of you.

Go hence and return not ere thou hast discovered reading comprehension.

Calling Jesus a zombie just before Easter. Nice. Fucking hell, can atheists even make a point without looking like prejudiced, hateful bastards? Truly, their rhetoric is more mindless than the rhetoric they rail against.

Yes, they can. Can you even make a point without looking like a prejudiced, hateful bastard? I mean, I’m sure you have in the past but I am choosing to ignore this in favor of characterizing this post as every single post you’ve ever made.

Now, now. No need to tar all atheists just on account of one rude little child.

Seriously. Good Friday is only just starting. He’s not even dead yet.

Ah, now it all makes sense. When Jesus said the poor will always be with us, Cameron thought that was a commandment and hence current government policy.

Seriously, if Cameron listened to Jesus he’d be so overcome with guilt he’d probably off himself. That won’t happen because Cameron is evil.

Hopefully this will cost him votes. We don’t like people talking about religion in this country, and Blair’s claim that God told him to kill foreigners didn’t help. Then again I hoped that Blair’s “invisible people tell me to kill, and I do!” stuff might cost him votes, but it never did.

Well, Cameron won’t be subjected to a national vote - how Christianish is his riding or district or whatever the Brits call them?

Personally, I find anyone who relies on mysticism as a moral guide is immature. I could buy that Cameron is only saying he does, because, well… he’s a politician.

Hey the last will be first, man. Gotta get cracking on creating a ton of lasts so Britain ends up chock full of firsts, it’ll be great.

“Ukip”?

University of Kentucky is (all)Powerful.

Just imagine the uproar if Obama started yammering about how the U.S. is a “Christian country” and needs to do more to uphold the faith.

Indeed, why bother knowing about rising right wing political movements in places that aren’t America?

Dafuq?

UKIP.

The acronym stands for United Kingdom Independence Party, so based on that, the kind of people who think that every evil in the country is the fault of Brussels, or perhaps of the Lithuanian plumber who worked on their neighbor’s house last week; if he’d been a British plumber none of this would have happened. A look at the list confirms that yep, that’s about it.

You fail to grasp the role that faith can play in helping people to have a moral code.

Then explain Westboro. What kind of moral code is that?

If you have a moral code to get magical rewards forever or to avoid getting punished for the remainder of Time, you have no *moral *code. What you have is metaphysical selfishness.
Also a case of the idiots, but that’s beside the point.

Now, now. No need to tar all Christians just on account of a few rude little children, you retard.
