One evening last week, while waiting at the train station for my girlfriend to pick me up after work, I looked up and noticed that a perfectly good photo-opportunity for someone pious and patriotic was being completely wasted on me. So I took a quick picture with my Treo anyway because it entertained me in some cheesy way.
Then there are the times when you just know the universe is completely in sync with your sense of humor, like this afternoon while we were wandering around Barnes & Noble killing time before going to catch a movie.
Loved the second one, especially since my computer is slow to download. It gave me enough time to think, “OK, it says Audio Fiction. I wonder what is going to be revealed next?” Then I was hit with the pictoral punch line.
My hand isn’t so steady with the Treo photography, and I was having to hold something up behind me to block the glare from the front windows that threatened to turn everything into shiney blobs. If I’d been able to pan back a bit farther, most of the top shelf was occupied by various audio bibles.
