I don’t know. I hope he is in recovery, tbh.
He caved, suddenly deciding that it was his duty as an American to do so. So he avoided being held in contempt.
There was a hilarious moment on Morning Joe where they showed a split screen of Lindsey Graham begging for donations and Jimmy Swaggart delivering his “I have sinned!” speech. The resemblance was uncanny (though a closer, if less visually compelling, comparison would be Oral Roberts’ “God will call me home if you don’t send money” stunt).
Edit: Belatedly checked the link, which leads to a similar Morning Joe commentary…
I’ll revive this thread with this heartwarming scene of MTG and her dream boy.
In Trump’s defense (let me just quickly rinse my brain out), he probably wasn’t snubbing MTG, just ignoring some blonde MAGA bimbo who got past the security barriers somehow, and going for the big crowd of admirers.
Not to pick on poor Marjorie (but why not?), she managed to star in one of the MAGAverse’s most comical moments.
“Marjorie Taylor Greene got into an argument with the outgoing Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Dr Rochelle Walensky, at one point telling the public health leader, “I don’t want my staff educated”.”
To me one of the most comical moments is when the woman with a “don’t tread on me” flag got tread on.
I missed this one. Holy smokes, does this mean he’s lining up his his Next wife to be…

Gal Gadot !?

(You know, someone should tell her about that. She’s entertained so very many of us over the years. The opportunity for us to help her spit out her Sunday morning coffee and throw her head back in pure laughter just seems like fair play,)
Isn’t she attractive enough to be another martyr for them? Lots of boo hoo for Ashley, none left over for this chick.
It’s more dramatic when you get shot in face by a cop, plus admitting you’d trampled someone to death in a mindless crush makes you look like a sheeple.
I’d go a bit further. Boyland’s trampling death is very clearly the rioters’ fault. But they can at least try to blame Babbit’s death on the cop who shot her.
Oh yes. They already are. They don’t realize that trying to break into a blockaded door with cops behind it so that they can harm congress people is kinda a bad idea.
Let them try that in Texas, or any state, and see what results they get.
To be fair to the violence-prone right, they ARE being fed a very steady diet of 'armed resistance to an unjust government is your duty as a patriot’* on virtually every right-wing media outlet, as well as from the public statements of many elected Republicans.
/* “Unjust government,” of course, being defined as any government that lets anyone except straight white Christian males have authority or influence or benefit of legal protection.
The facts are out there and not hard to find at all. The violence-prone right believes what they want to believe.
At one point their idiot king finally said that they should be vaccinated against COVID. They booed him.
