OK, so tdn started a Bob Newhart Show trivia game in this thread. I have separated the two, so we have threads dedicated to each show.
This is OK as long as we have only a few such show-specific games. If we wind up with ten or twelve threads, each one dedicated to one show, then we’ll merge 'em all together into one gigantic trivia game.
I forget the point of why it made him hire her, but it had something to do with a tiny run in her nylons during her job interview. Dialog went something like:
“You noticed that?”
“It was hard not notice it, under a purse, two hands, and a leg.”
(BTW, nothing like this happens in her job interview with Lou as seen in the pilot.)

Holy cow! I just want to congratulate you all on your excellent memories! I used to watch this show all the time in its Nick-at-Nite days and thought I’d do pretty well at this game, but almost all of them have been over my head. How do you all remember this so well? Or is the show still airing somewhere in the dark recesses of cable TV?
