Is it just me or did the whole plot about Barney trying to cop a feel on Lily’s breasts seem over the top? He never made a pass at her when she was staying in his apartment and Marshal and Lily were broken up and he actually was incremental to getting them back together.
I’m sorry, I would give a detailed and meaningful answer, but I’m afraid I can’t tear myself away from fantasizing about Lilly.

Barney’s always hoped for a glimpse of Lily’s boobs. It’s been a long running joke.
he only wants to see them strictly under the context of the boobs being forbidden, and now forbidden and milk-filled.
To be fair, Barney wants to see all boobs. Lilly’s are just always nearby and always inaccessible. Plus, he likes to mess with Lilly, she is someone who usually sees through his schemes.
The real question is why was Robin wearing her pajama top through the whole episode.
No, the real question is why Robin has chosen a hairstyle that actually makes her look less attractive than usual. Big step in the wrong direction, girlfriend.
Oh, and for me the funniest part of the episode was the Japanese Chef and the looks on his face as he keeps trying to get involved in the action.

He’s got to wear the tie, but he did get to see Lily’s boobs (she’s apparently not wearing a bra?). Unless of course, the possibility distracted him enough that she didn’t need to do the actual flash.
And I loved Marshall attempting to block Ted’s view (although, as long as the three of them have been roommates, it seems unlikely that Ted hasn’t gotten a glimpse at some point or another).
I happen to be watching an old rerun of HIMYM right now. Were Lily’s boobs really that much more impressive than in any other random episode?
And let’s be thankful that Victoria’s appearance was really designed to deliver one line to kick the overall plot forward, and then they literally put her on a bus out of town.
I have to at least give props to the writers for this episode. This series is the, ahem, mother of all shaggy dog stories. But with the return of Victoria and her final line it at least gave a passing nod of an explanation as to why in the heck Ted the Father started a story about how he met the kid’s mother 6+ years before he actually met her.
It’s because he needed to show how his relationship with Robin evolved and his closure with Victoria put him in a position to be ready for a relationship with the mom when it actually happened. Otherwise, he’d just screw it up like he did so many times before.
Yes, actually. When Hannigan got pregnant she got a whole bunch bigger, and they’ve stayed that way ever since.
So, depending on how far back you go…they inflated like two years ago or so. If you go before that she’s much more…modest.

Routine DVR query - was there anything important after Victoria said that the reason was Robin? I don’t think I got anything at all after she said Robin’s name at the bus stop.
She basically said there’s no way that Ted, Barney, and Robin could all stay together as friends. And then narrator Ted said they eventually realized she was right.
Which I think the is a point for “Robin is the bride.”
Considering that Lily flashed the bouncer to get into a club in one episode, and that she confirmed that she flashed a college tour group “once on a dare, the rest of the times just for fun”) I think Barney’s lust stemmed from the fact that he thinks he’s the only man left in the Tri-state area who hasn’t seen her boobs.
Victoria seems to have put on a little weight since she started baking instead of cutting hair on that Miami morning show…
