New George Clooney movie coming out on Nov 6! Just the title was me really looking forward to this one!
Is this about the program to try to train a group of psychic warriors for the Pentagon?

It’s based on the factual (and highly entertaining) book by British journalist Jon Ronson. I’d imagine its success will be touch-and-go, as the reported subject matter is so utterly bizarre that it will just look like fiction; and then the necessarily added fictionalised parts will reduce its credibility even further.
It’ll be interesting to see if the movie features Gen. Albert Stubblebine, mentioned in Ronson’s book, who believed he could harness the power to walk through walls.
Stubblebine, incidentally, is active today in another cause, that of “health freedom” (meaning he is a fervent antivaccinationist and supporter of quack health remedies), running an outfit called the “Natural Solutions Foundation”.
He is viewed with suspicion by other alt med activists - not because his ideas are so nutty, but because of his military background. 
The trailer shows Clooney (I think) trying to run through a wall (and failing). Might be Stubblebine, or a composite character.
It looks absolutely hilarious from the trailer. I’ll be seeing it.
I read the book and found it amusing. Ronson’s Them is also a good read. It is an account of various encounters with fringe folk who believe that the Bilderberg Group runs the world, he also did a few different television shows with the same material.
As noted, a walk-through-walls scene appears in the trailer. There is no character named Stubblebine in the credits as listed on IMDb, however.
