The orlando team has the rights to him so if he plays for the UFL it will be here.
I really can’t see him as a QB again. Perhaps full back? Wide Receiver??
Either way, week 6, Oakland Raiders or Detroit Lions.
nm
week 6 Redskins.
I’m watching the local news – there’s a possibility he may be signed by my beloved STEELERS!!! Dan, don’t you fucking DARE sign this fucking jagoff!!!
I’ll join the optimists and say that even if he gets signed, he’s cut in camp or from the practice squad and doesn’t play another game.
Edit: Saw VarlosZ and furt got there first.
Never.
Pete Rozelle would die before he’d let Michael Vick back in the NFL.
Week 1, 2010 season Boise Burn of the afl2
What evidence is there that Vick is lazy? A fp, sure, in the sense that most felons are fs. I never heard that his work ethic was bad though.
Pete Rozelle was dead before he’d ever even heard of Vick.
Roger Goodell is the commissioner now.

The NFL has a shit ton of wide receivers and running backs already. They don’t need another one. Black guys are actually allowed to play quarterback these days, you know.

Michael Vick is 6’ and 215 pounds, and looks like he should have stopped at 180. There’s no way he’ll ever be big enough to play fullback in the NFL.
Well, he let others define his manhood for him.
The more I think about it, the more I agree with those who think there’s no way any NFL team will take the risk of trying out Vick at QB this season. I’d sure take a flyer on him as a kick returner, like Josh Cribbs of the Browns, though. I’m not sure Vick would be willing to take that role but I’d like to see him try it.
What “risk”? He’ll either be a backup for a team with a top-flight quarterback, in which case he’ll only step in if the starter is injured (and the season is likely to be down the tubes anyway), or a team with no established quarterback at all, in which case the worst thing that can happen is they go 4-12 instead of 5-11.
The backlash risk. Come on, Vick is not special enough to warrant getting a free pass from the media or animal lovers out there. They will picket. They will make the team look bad. They will organize boycotts. It would be a disaster all around.
Actually, while there will be some few protesters at first, I think the number of protesters will be few and very manageable. I don’t think there is a big overlap between PITA members and NFL fans.
He’s just not going to happen. Too old to be a running QB anymore, out of the league too long and never really ever was a traditional QB. He’s screwed. He might get a flyer from someone, but it won’t pan out.
The people I’ve heard discussing Vick specifically mention the boycott of advertisers.
There are some very bad QBs in the NFL. Some teams are very thin at the position. I can see him getting a shot. I wonder how much throwing he did in jail?
Likewise, how much catching.
