The Mir spacestation didn’t really crash! The US found out that it was a spy station, so the Russians pretended to crash it. Those pictures are just missles being fired into the Pacific ocean. Did you think the expulsion of Russian and American spies at the same time was a coincidence? I probably won’t live long after posting this.
Don’t be silly. The entire Mir space station was a hoax. I mean, really, people living in space? Give me a break.
I’m still trying to figure out why they wanted to fake such a preposterous notion though. The best explanation I’ve come up with is that by convincing the public of such outlandish stories, the actual outlandish stuff the government does will get lost in the noise.

But the real reason behind why it had to come down is being kept from us. You see all this time aliens have been living on the station but lately they have turned into really bad tenants.
They cook this really smelly food and play their stero really loud at all hours. Who do you think crashed that supply ship into the side? That fire was caused by the aliens lighting their farts after eating some White Castle hamburgers to ch the aliens are addicted. Even though they were repeated told clean up their act they wouldn’t. They also wouldn’t move out and claimed squatters rights and quite paying rent. To bad for them there were some old hard liners in charge of the Russian space program and they decided to just crash the ship rather than go through the legenthy eviction process.
