Just had some broccoli in cheese sauce, Green Giant I think. The broccoli was rubbery and the cheese sauce was icky.
I’m still hungry but I’ll wait a bit and go out for something.
I am officially out of food at the house, unless I want to eat a can of kidney beans or peas. Although I have some rice, could cook up the kidney beans with some chili powder and eat it over rice. Or I could have some canned peas over rice.
You’d think I was poor but nope, just don’t like to grocery shop on the weekend.
Smokey cat is such a mooch! I can’t even enjoy a simple sandwich without her being all up in my face!
I’m home! Actually, I’ve been home, but just after I got back we went to Bert’s for a burger. Then we came home and I pulled some weeds while **FCD **mowed. But we’re done with chores. He’s cackling over Washington’s losing efforts against Green Bay and I’m catching up on my comics and Dear Abby. I’m glad to be home.
You wanna come over and defilthify the Stately Manor? I had a vague idea I was going to do that today, but I feel more like doing a whole lot of nothing other than tackle the book pile.

Happy Bunday. Yesterday was gawjuss–low 70s, sunny, gentle breeze. Today is raining cats and dogs (I stepped in a poodle–HA! I slay me) and 55. I et a late lunch (filet, creamed spinach and beets) watched an episode of Inspector Morse, and am now debating on going to Trader Joe’s. I hate driving in the rain but I’m bored.
Dude, I want to impress women with my bar tending, not other guys. :rolleyes:
I went fishy shopping today, but sadly I didn’t get any bass, just some lampeyes and some cherry shrimp (not kept shrimp before, they’re really cool to watch though 
).
