Daughter just left and took her psycho pug home. She helped her dad in his shop, then we had a nice meal of steak, N.O.T. tots, green beans, and cucumber salad. And she finally got the last of her crap out of my house!!!
OK, she may still have stuff in the attic, but I don’t count that since I don’t see that. But at long last, her wedding dress is gone, her jar of pennies is gone, and a few miscellaneous things that she said she’d take are gone. So yay! Ziva is happy - she came out of hiding now that Cozmo is gone.
I plan to work in the yard tomorrow and do some laundry. We’ll see how long I last in the heat. I’m going to start early. **FCD **might go into the office tomorrow - he’s got a giganto project in the wings and if it’s blessed, he’ll be managing it, including its $20 million budget. I think he’s a little worried about it.
More talk about de-boating ourselves. I think he’s starting to lean my way on the issue. Especially after I pointed out that we’d put any proceeds from the sale into a separate account, and keep depositing our monthly “slip rent” into that account - by the time he retires, if we decide to get another boat, we would have enough cash tucked away if we came across a good deal. So we shall see.
Thus goeth my Sunday. I think I’m going to turn on the TV and work on the shawl for a while.
