The Mobile MMP

Thanks for sharing.

The green guest room closet is organized and purged of some crap. Yay. I should be able to tidy the rest of the room in about an hour total, including the vacuuming. So why am I sitting at the computer, you may ask? Because, in case I’ve never said this before, I hate housework. Avoidance is working for me at the moment.

I found an item that belongs to a former coworker and for the life of me I can’t remember his last name. However, I wrote to another former coworker who happens to live a few miles from me asking if said individual still works there (I was able to describe him) and if so, would he deliver the item for me. We shall see if that works out. I also found some Christmas stuff that my daughter might want - strings of lights and a few random ornaments. We don’t decorate any more (bah, humbug, too much of a bother) so if she doesn’t want the stuff, Goodwill will benefit.

Have I mentioned that I hate housework? It doth well and truly sucketh.

I like “Grunt & Snort”, too.
(What a bunch o’ names those kids have)
As for Tomkitten nomming dry noodles, what’d you expect from a kid who pours OJ on oatmeal? At least uncooked, it’s fat free.

YAAAAAAAAY!!!
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Ok, first of all, I got my Tupperware consultant kit yesterday and there are so many new toys to play with!! I’m gonna make a chocolate cake today so I can play with them.

Second, I got an e-mail from my vet today!! She’s trying to find at least one new person for her office but finding the perfect person is hard. So, she wants to know if I want to work for her for my summer vacation and maybe the occasional Saturday or vacation after school starts!!! YAAAAAY!!! This is so perfect!! I’m so excited! The bestest part of this is that now Sweetie doesn’t have to foot the $70 bill for me to join the Y for one month so I can use the pool to fix my hip!
Third, my non-narcotic pain killer/muscle relaxer actually seems to work pretty damn well.

I hadn’t had enough coffee to process anything yet, now I have a ton of irk irk irk to do
Happy day all:D

When Kirk does irk does he use a dirk?

OhSOAPYsomedays I wish I could, the catherding of musicians can inspire a desire for murder. But today is email hell day as we leave on tour next week

I bet catherding means cat herding… Not a play on catheridizing. Right? Please am I right?

Yep you are right the auto correct get me sometimes, dang BlackBerry tablet…
Let’s see what it does this time Cat herding. Likes it this time what do you know. It is possible that I can’t type on glass or anywhere else for that matter.

I pop by and we’re discussing mayhem. Ya’ll sure know how to hook a feller in!

Just a fast drive-by to say I’m driving by - amusement parks and museums are open, the Road Kow is running fine and I’m going to use up some of my 16 weeks of vacation time and 158 hours of comp. Be back by and by and hugs to all needed or not.

My green guest room is just about ready for guests. Daughter is bringing a small storage unit for the last of my yarn, and I’ll be good to go.

So, kopek, if you’re zipping by the neighborhood…

As I was sorting thru a big pile o’ papers yesterday, I came across the paperwork from when I got Ziva - it has her actual birthdate - June 10, 2008. My grey fuzzball is almost 4! No idea when Taz was born - he’s about 7, more or less. Not that it’s a big deal, but she’s the first critter we’ve had in decades that we have an actual precise age for. So there ya go.

A nice man from the county health dept called - he’s got to come test our well for bacteria and other baddies. He’ll be here Thursday morning. Hope it’s not full of baddies, since we’ve been drinking it for a couple of weeks already…

That’s all. I’m thinking about assuming the knit position and watching some Netflix.

Have a good ride and wear a skid lid cuz we want you back:D

All I want is a nap.

Once I get that, I have many other wants, but right now, getting a nap is about as likely as someone giving me a new Mac.

Thanks to my new friend Lodine, I got the bathroom cleaned (finally). I didn’t do the tub because precarious perching didn’t seem like a good idea this week but the rest is done. Sweetie will be happy. Now I just need to convince him to clean the tub for me. I still haven’t figured out where to store my Tupperware. I have ample amounts of closet and cabinet space but never needed it all which led to us storing things haphazardly. Now I need to actually organize so I can get my space back. I think I might use the living room closet but that’ll mean having to find a new home for the Nerf guns. Hmm… such a dilemma.

I need a nap.

ETA Posted mine before I saw Gotti’s. Freaky!

Howdy Y’all! I’ve been a productive irk from home bear today. After a couple of hours in the office I came back to da cave, cranked up the smoker and let chikin boobs smoke while I irked. They’re all done and smell soooooooooooo good! Gonna be so nummy for dindin. Anywho, I am callin’ a day as far as irk is concerned. Gonna go make dindin which shall consist of (duh!) smoked chikin boobs, butter beans, steamed squish, baked sweet N.O.T. and rolls. I might even make a peach cobbler. I’ll madcap like that.

Laterz!

I’m thinking mac-n-cheese or grilled cheese for supper. I just can’t get motivated enough to cook.

Well, hell.

I received word on Saturday that a cousin of mine was killed in a car accident. Because of age gaps and Dad’s second marriage, pretty much all my first cousins are 1/2 to a full generation older than me. Karen was probably twenty years older than me. I barely knew her growing up and only really got to know her better through Facebook.

She’s family, and I am now both geographically close and flexible of employment, so I volunteered to represent this part of the family at her funeral service. Trouble is, I got so many compliments for the work I did Fri/Sat/Mon, that my temp agency called this morning with a plum assignment, and I had to turn it down so I could go to the funeral. I’ve been out of work for three years, and this is only the second assignment I’ve been offered. Sucks.

I’m also furious with my dead cousin, because it was a car accident, she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, and was thrown from the car. She might very well have lived if she’d worn her seatbelt. How the fuck doesn’t wear a seatbelt in this day and age? But, it’s not a sentiment I’m going to express anywhere but here.

I expect things will be tense as her husband (my actual blood relative) left her a couple of years ago for another woman. They weren’t divorced at the time of her death, but she was going by her maiden name. I have no idea what relationships are like between husband, grown kids, in-laws, and so forth. It’s just damn depressing, is what it is.

Bummer, kanga. I agree about the seatbelt - I can’t imagine not wearing one and why someone wouldn’t wear one.

Can’t believe I forgot this but I lived in Denver for about six months in 2001, please wear your seatbelts kids and don’t forget yer lids on yer motorcycles. I have been to enough funerals as we all probably have.
