The Mobile MMP

I never heard anything more about the manure pit story last night other than a page saying everyone was going home at 11:01pm. I suspect the farmhands all went to the bar without telling the boss…

Yes.
We wanted a colony, didn’t notice that they had spawned. Digging a pit in the sand in the back of the tank where we couldn’t see was a clue, but we didn’t notice anything until Mrs. Plant saw tenny tiny fry that looked just like Mom and Dad. Whoever they are.
They make commie colonies where everyone including young fish take care if the fry.
This will be cool.

Whoops, no I was wrong. Father & sons drowned.

:frowning:

How sad and how horrible… :frowning:

This

What a horrible way to die! I feel so bad not only for them but for their family(ies).

Ok, so a local won “American Idol” last night, apparently. Ummm… good for him but shut the heck up about it already. You don’t know him. He does not know you. He probably does not want to know you. Right now, I wish I did not know you. Shut. Up. Seriously, several people at irk are just goin’ on and on and on and on about this.

I went in this mornin’ thinkin’ I might make it a short day and take tomorrow off just to have a long weekend because right now stuff is pretty well caught up and also just cause I can. All that bidness in the above paragraph sealed the deal. Da bear is through with irk for the week. YAY!!!

That is all.

It is almost Friday…I can do this.

I am really looking forward to the three day weekend this weekend. It will involve transplanting tomato plants and talking to them in the hope they give me tomatoes this summer. Dropping a bunch of stuff off at Goodwill that I have bagged up. Getting passport pictures taken and then reading in the sunshine. mr ems has to work this weekend so he can have the following weekend off for his daughters High School graduation so I will be withough adult supervision.

And oh my goodness those poor people!

Trash and recycling have been trashed and recycled as appropriate. Kitchen is tidied. Vacuum has sucked up assorted floor crud. House is closed and a/c is on because it’s warming up and **FCD **isn’t as tolerant of the warmth as I am. As soon as I switch from shorts to jeans, I’ll head to his office to pick him up and take him to lunch. Beyond that, who knows? By the time we get back, the stuff on the line should be dry, so I can make the bed in case he needs to crash. Or he can just crash in the newly cleaned guest room. Or he may not crash at all. Who knows what awaits us??

OK, that’s pretty pathetic. I’m off to change and fetch my sweetie.

Slow irk day. Most of the bank already seems to be in holiday mode. ie: gone.

The mighty chihuahua is about to get a b.a.t.h. He’s actually not too unruly at bath time. Doesn’t like it, but at least he doesn’t cower in fear or try to run and hide like our big mutt.

Already 82 here, and they’re saying today will be the coolest of the next few days. ICK.

My sweetie is home, napping. He’s had a 60-hour week so far, and he may have to go into the office tomorrow. Poor thing… Daughter was supposed to come to supper tonight, but she’s having a bad day, too, so we’ll see her on Sunday.

And I think we’re going to splurge a little and do a cruise to Bermuda/Boston/Newport in August. Trying to figure the budget right now… fingers crossed…

Afternoon all,
Got a lot done today and the Matt Schofield trio is officially ready to hit the road, shows are advanced, hotels are booked, rental gear rented and a big sigh of relief has washed over me. We aren’t actually a trio this time around as our Hammond Organ master decided he just had to marry that cutie he has been seeing and it’s honeymoon time, hubba hubba. We have a Bass player and a second guitarist so I guess we are a quartet but the entity will get a nickname once we all get together, as is tradition. The bassist is a kook apparently, I have never met him, after a beer or two he is supposed to be pure comedy. The guitar player is from Huey Lewis and the News and our drummers brother, sat in a few times before and is a chunky, funky playing machine, so I expect that the blues band from hell will leave a wide swath of cut heads, bruised egos, small fires and ringing ears. My boys are nice they just don’t play nice, ask Robin Trower we cut his head so hard last year in Connecticut he’s still looking for it. Sorry to brag on my boys so much, I am just chomping at the bit. I am very fortunate to love what I do for a living.
Any of yall that want to come out, can for the most part, just check out the website and PM me,it’s generally not a problem as we have comped tix for most shows.
Again sorry to prattle on so much
Have a great day all
That is all
JIM

I got the job.
squee

Jim they sound like folks I’d like to know.

I have mowed da yahd at da cave and also OYKW’s yahd. I do not know what possessed me to go out in ninety plus degree weather and hyoooomid to do so but I did. However, when I got back to da cave and got stuff put away, I washed myself off with the hose, stripped down to my underwear and jumped in the pool. AHHHHHHH! So Nice! How’s that for some TMI?

: applause :
: throwing confetti wildly :

Ditto, congratsSOAPY

Heck we just drove by your house, last tour we overnighted in Valdosta after the Hippie fest in FLA, drove via Tifton and Columbus to Birmingham, next time I’ll stop by for a glass of tea unsweetened please:p

Now I’m feeling vaguely nauseated…
