back in the early 60s when modeling was really big marvel had a title called chili .she was drawn like a archie version of mary jane Watson had archie style plots mixed in with the modeling world
What made her different was the full page “portfolio” bikini shots back when bikinis were novelties themselves… among other drawings
when these were found at a yard sale …they passed through my 5th grade class very quickly
its an very obscure spin off title don’t think it lasted … if I hadn’t found the actual issues … but they werent worth a whole lot last time I looked in fact I had to use the old wizard price guide just to prove there was such a title ,
Cool that the link shows several of its features (including one of my favourites - Dracurella), but doesn’t show all of them, which included my all-time fave - Lilly Fatal - who I can’t find anywhere on the 'net:( Any huge-nosed adventuress who can distract and then dominate her way out of a hit-man’s gun-point by flashing her hypno-jugs at him and then overtake her mesmerized captor/quarry with ninja tickling ranks high in this hombre’s books.
Shego was cute, and unlike Bonnie she didn’t seem mean-spirited - she seemed to be a villain because she saw more action than when she was a hero (Go Team Go!), especially liked fighting Kim.
In a similar vein, my pick would be the JLU version of Huntress voiced by Amy Acker.
Rogue looked really good around the time Jim Lee started drawing Uncanny X-Men. Previously she’d looked like a frumpy housewife (even though she was supposed to be a teenager) or some sort of nasty punk (sorry Mark Silvestri, but your Rogue stunk). Didn’t hurt that Lee’s run started about the time I was in puberty.
