“What a bitch!” From my boss* after a phone call.

*who rarely curses about or gets angry at anybody, much less customers

“Smell me!”
“Go on smell me, I just took a shower not two hours ago.”
“OK, then smell my hair.”

Heard in the hotel’s lobby this mourning.

One of the women, who I spoke to yesterday (and said that I found inspiration from her story of being a respite carer and asked her some questions about getting involved myself) approached me and said

“If you want to work with children with autism, you need to not talk so much, you’d confuse them”

I know I was enthusiastic in the classroom and had a lot to say about things and wasn’t afraid to ask questions, but 25% of the class approached me at different times to tell me that I am very intelligent, insightful and that my input was good.
