I was going to try to stop being such a post whore. But…but…but…it’s the1500th post.

The second Mrs. Tom Hanks? Why, I believe they met on the set of
Volunteers.
Notice how I chivalrously made no “whore” comment?
I’ll reply with that guy who played WASP windbag Lawrence Bourne. No, not LB III, but LB Jr., none other than professional Walter Mitty George Plimpton.
Dang, we’ve already done Good Will Hunting this time around. Drawing a blank on another one right now, but have a curiosity question - is actress Martha Plimpton related to George?
Plimpton just died not that long ago, right?
Well I’m glad i can trot out LA Story, one of the smartest comedies of the 90’s
Welcome, Ezekiel. I am not my brother’s keeper or the finder of lost children, although occasionally I’ll turn up a nickel or a dime. Let’s go with
Kevin Pollak
End of Days
Speaking of being his brother’s keeper, Shib, you busted out Kein Pollack back in May, but you spelled it Pollack, which is probably why it didn’t come up in a search.
So, unless I’m wrong (which is a pretty common occurance) we’re still on
LA Story
Ok, how about Victoria Tennant?
MAY? We’ve been playing since MAY?
April, actually.
Ezekiel, we actually started a new round a few hundred posts ago, so I think Kevin Pollak is valid. So we’re on End of Days.
By the way…are you a Pulp Fiction fan?
Yep, Nightwatch started this behemoth on April 8, 2004. It was five months old yesterday. We’re currently in round 2 and although I’m happy I was able to spell Mr. Pollak’s name correctly this time around, I am drawing a complete blank on End of Days, so it may be one of those movies that came out when I didn’t live in the USA so I never heard of it. Either that or a synapse is missing.
Aside to 'Zeke: get used to being wrong a lot around here (I have). There’s a bunch of brainy folks, particularly in GQ.
It’s an Arnold Schwarzenegger crapfest from 1999 with a millenial apocalypse theme. Gabriel Byrne plays the Devil! Kevin Pollak plays Arnold’s funny sidekick.
In the end, Arnold (who lost his faith when his family was murdered) essentially gets crucified in a church to save the world. Gag me.
So, are you playing Arnold or Gabriel? The plot sounds vaguely familiar to me although I’m sure I’ve not seen it. Might make a good MST3000 film by the sound of it.
I’m the one who said End of Days, so I can’t also contribute the next actor.
Okay, let’s go with Arnold Schwarzenegger then (is that cheating?)… and to make it tough, someone try to name a movie that he’s been in that might be considered a “good” film, in this case where “good” might mean it could get nominated for an award for something other than violence or special effects.
According to IMDb, The 6th Day was nominated for a Razzie. Does that count?
Fine, someone pick another movie. But I actually liked The 6th Day.
Jeez, way to bring the game to a screeching halt, Shibb.
Um, um…um…
Crap. Of all his films, True Lies is my favorite, but it won’t win any awards. I haven’t seen the updated version of Around the World in 80 Days, but I’m sure it was well worth his taking that time off from the less urgent business of running our fair state. Oh, the shame.
Ah, well. Pick one.
Well, since things are in the toilet anyway…
Tom Arnold
I guess thats what I get for reading the first 25 pages and then jumping to the last.

Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare
(Nightmare on Elm Street 6)
If only it really had been the last.
