The music video is not dead! Great modern music videos.

I give you “Shine on Me” by Chris Dane Owens.

Before the music starts you can type in the address of your childhood home (or wherever) and the video will then use Google aerial photos and street views to personalize the scenes to that location. After that, about half way through, you can type or draw a message on the screen, which will then turn into vegetation for birds to perch on.

The Piano Guys do great classical/pop mashup and their music videos are great to watch. Here are some examples, more on their channel:

Beethoven’s 5 Secrets
Coldplay Paradise (Peponi)
Cello Wars (Star Wars Parody)

For some reason I always interpreted that video as a newly deceased Bjork entering the afterlife as a robot, where she is greeted by another robot Bjork. And they make out.

You would have won the thread, but your clip ended. Why did it end?

And now I cant stop watching this crap. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a guy more uncomfortable in the presence of a woman.

[holding hands with her] You can see what he’s thinking - “So this is what it’s like to hold hands with a woman. Not as bad as I imagined. I can do this.”

[kissing her] “OK, that’s enough of that nonsense.” :stuck_out_tongue:

Cool video! I hadn’t seen it. It reminded me of this great recent video - Returner by Liturgy. This video for the White Stripes cover of Walking with the Ghost is an aesthetic joy.

Hooray for Earth’s True Loves is like the trailer for the most epic movie set to film. Christ, just watch the first scene and marvel at how cool it is!

Salem - King Night. This is evil, in the grand sense. A weird, disturbing video that is also just spectacularly intriguing.

Casiokids make neat, fun videos. Fiin Bikkjen and Fot i Hose are my favorites.

Four minutes wasn’t enough?
