James Grant, born at 10:57 this morning. He weighted 9 lbs, 12oz. He’s in perfect health, and is very strong and aware of his surroundings, he’s holding his head up a bit and looking around him. GingeroftheNorth was in labor all night, but it didn’t really start hurting until after 5. At 9 or so she was given one half a dose of a painkiller to take the edge off, she said this time was much more painful than when Matthew was born. She really started pushing about 10:30, and out he popped after only a half hour or so of pushing. Here are a couple of pictures.
