Wow, it’s been a really long time. How’s everyone? I’m good. I’ve missed all (well, most) of you. With getting ready for the baby and everything, I just lost a lot of free time. Plus I had to move my computer to make room in my bedroom for the bassinet and I haven’t gotten around to putting it back up yet. I’d already decided to drop my ISP anyway because they totally suck.
I’m someone’s mommy now. His name is Alex James. He’s 5 days old now (they grow up so fast ). He was born at 6:37am, weighing 7lbs 11.75 oz. He was 20.5in long. Looking at him, and then at my own body, I can’t believe he actually fit in there! He is absolutely perfect and I’m glad he’s finally here.
I want to thank Cheri and Scott for the clothes. It’ll be a while before they’ll fit him, but they’re super cute. Cheri, I’ll send you pictures as soon as I get a roll developed. No, I don’t have a digital camera. Yes, I live in the dark ages. No, it doesn’t bother me.
God, it’s good to be back. Too bad I can’t stay longer. I really have missed this place. Maybe someday I’ll find a decent ISP and get my office space finished so I can get my own computer up and come around more often.
Oh Congratulations Silver Fire. I was so tired after my baby was born, so try and get lots of rest. Isgnore those dishes and dusty shelves, value the time with your little one more.
Congrats to you. Got my own offspring last October. Quite the experience, let me tell you… have fun and don’t freak out too much (freaking out is very easy to do with newborns. )
