I wander around quite invisibly, I think. I run a search based on my username whenever I come back to the boards, in order to see the action on threads I’ve posted to.
Not once in over a year, has my name appeared in any thread unbidden. I have made no lists. 
I did have a poster request to use a line I posted as a sig (Head swelling…); but even after I said ok!, the poster never used it (Head deflating…)
I’ve gotten one (one!) unsolicited doper e-mail in over a year. Thanks screech-owl!
Really, I don’t mind. I know I’m not flirty. And as I’ve said before, I don’t flame and I’m not flaming; so I can’t expect to light up the board.

No one on the “Who do you want to meet” thread mentioned me. But in fairness, I didn’t contribute to it, but still, it hurts, ya know.
I have been mentioned in two OP’s but both were by Homer, and I think he does have a bit of a crush on me (just kidding Tim)
And I have actually met a few of my fellow dopers, so I suppose I could be worse off.
But, dammit, I sooo wanted to be in that thread. I got almost 700 posts in under 3 months on the board, and the majority of them are in MPSIMS. I guess i’ve got to try to be more magnanimous. And if that doesn’t work I suppose I should try to stop using words like “magnanimous.”
maybe I’ve changed my name too many times for anyone to want to meet me(formerely vanillanice, orangecakes, peaches)

Math time: I’ve been here a month less than UncleBeer. He has 3839 posts. I have sub-100. He posts 240/mo. on average. Checking the numbers, I must post 6 or 7 times per month. I think that if I simply post 233 more times per month, I’ll get my deserved recognition. (Ahh. Sorry ChiefScott…at least I remembered you.)
